ikar
I'm thinking of starting a project where I would need an Iowa class battleship and a carrier with an angled deck in the same scale. I/350th would have been nice but too expensive and a bit too large. Are there any other options available?
dnl42
Did you discount 1/700 for some reason? Here's a link to 1/700 kits and bits at Free Time Hobbies...
ikar
Actually no, I'll use that scale if necessary. It's just that I managed to acquire a somewhat uncomman eye problem that makes it a bit more difficult. Did you have a suggestion?
Rich in name only
1/600 is a bit better than 1/700 and includes Victorious and Forrestal. 1/400 has some goodies but you'd have to do mods to get an angled deck carrier, as long as you're okay with Brit origin of most of the ships. Heller's Arromanches is a great starting point for a wide variety of ships. There's also an Enterprise in 1/400.
