vesthepes
Hi everyone Finally took some time to take shots of the finished F-117. It's a Tamiya kit with CMK bomb bay, Quikboost ejection seat and Two Bobs Kosovo Bandits decals. The kit is easy to build but the bomb bay is a different story.. Anyway here are some photos: for more photos and info, please check this link thanks for lookin' in
Fighting Eighty-Four
That is beautiful! I don't see too many F-117s posted, so it is really cool to see yours.
Falconxlvi
I agree with Fighting Eighty-Four! A beautiful F-117. Did you cut the ailerons and droop them or is that an option in the kit? Either way, that adds a lot of interest to the model. Well done!
Sebastijan
Great work, my friend! I really love the dropped flaperons and inclusion of RBF tags.

vesthepes
Thanks guys. It's near to impossible to take photos of the cockpit since the canopy is blocking the view... Here's a photo of the belly and the bomb bay The ailerons come that way OOB, didn't have to cut anything. I did not fill the panel lines. I've heard about that being needed to represent the plane in action but I just didn't like the idea. And I prefer panels being shown, even if it's not most authentic... cheers
31Tiger
Great model, very inspiring
tankfarms
I say that F-117 is one of the toughest planes to model because of its color. Great Job!

janman
I like it a lot! I don't know, your excellent photos make it look very cool and menacing. Somehow you've managed to capture it from angles I've somehow never seen before and reveal some totally new aspects of its design. Great work!
Squizzy 78
That looks great!!! I love the paint job, a matt black paint finish does sound simple, but in those photos, you can see variations in the finish, which makes it look very realistic. Great Job.
