    Tamiya F-14A

Being an FNG to both airplane modeling, and aircraft in general, I have to ask, is there a link to a story regarding the Tomcats flying over Saigon?
  2. Did anyone happen to ask what the expected MSRP would be on this kit? If they would even know at this point. Price of the ZM vs Academy would also be a factor...
  3. I agree. I'm interested too see if this is any better than the Academy kits. If they were coming out with the long nose E and G I'd probably be more interested.
  4. Received mine today. First rate!! One of the most comprehensive instruction sheets I've seen, the info to backdate the -6A kit to a true -6A is invaluable!
  5. Raymond, I think this is a fantastic idea, especially for those like me that are new to aircraft modeling!
  6. Ordered my Vietnam A-6A sheet !!! I'll be ordering the Desert Storm sheet here soon!
  7. Price is a factor of course, but before I make a decision on whether to purchase an AMK or a Tamiya, I'll wait and see a few built. If the reviews on both are good, I'll get atleast one or two of each. All kinds of cool -A schemes that I can do. No such thing as too many good Tomcat kits...
  8. Thanks for the reply. Watching a couple sheets on Evilbay now.
  9. Is the SuperScale sheet my only option in 48th scale to build a -153 Corsair? My buddies dad recently passed. He was with -153 on the Oriskany, as a Corsair mechanic in '68-'72. He was a big influence on all of us teenage drag racers in our circle, always willing to share his knowledge. I'd like to build a Corsair from -153 in this timeframe if possible and surprise my buddy with it.
  10. To add on a question to the original post. Will the Academy F-4C build a -D , or do I need to get the Korean F-4D kit? Sorry to hi Jack, but it seems like the place to ask.
