:D, Very nice model there rav_pl. Congratulations to you and your son mate. You're giving him an interest that should keep him less at the computer games and more productive. Just this weekend I attended an Australian Air League recreation camp at a place called Webb's Creek on a tributary of the Hawkesbury River in the hinterland of the NSW Central Coast. To get there from where I live I had to cross first of all the Hawkesbury at the Wiseman's Ferry vehicle ferry and then Webb's Creek at the Webb's Creek ferry. There was a music festival on at a neighbouring property and the owner hadn't put in place any traffic management plan (he reckoned that was a government responsibility, yes but only if the authorities knew about it which they obviously didn't) so on the Friday night there was a wait for the Webb's Creek ferry of about 1 hour 40 minutes and the same yesterday afternoon.

During the wait yesterday I got talking to a lady who originated from Vladivostok who had her son at our camp and she was saying she loves him being in the Air League at a very small squadron because he is learning hand skills due to the model building programme we have. It also keeps him off the computer and the games thereon and off the streets and she is able to spend more time with him and enjoys modelling herself. All models must be 1/72 and when a model is complete photos are taken and sent to the Group HQ in each state and are judged and prizes given at the Group Review held in the state capitals each year. Just as an aside, there was years ago a movie about Franz von Werra called The One That Got Away.

,

Ross.

Thank you, Ross! Today we are happy because of the first model built by Gustaw alone. Of course I was right by his side to advise, but did not built nor paint anything. I also had some time to take some photos...

:D, I can see that young Gustaw is doing very well in his modelling there rav_pl. Keep encouraging him, he obviously has a good idea despite him being very young. You're also doing very well guiding him. He'll be a great modeller soon. Oops, I spoke too soon. He already is a great modeller.

,

Ross.
