Kingoalie
Hey Everyone, I'm finally getting around to working on this kit again. It's the 1/72nd Gavia Let L-410. I started this kit in early 2011. It's been an on and off build (like many shelf queens). This will be in the markings of black 318 of the East German Air Force, which will consist of kit decals and some aftermarket decals. I was able to finish filling, sanding, and rescribing the wing and fuselage joints this past week. Next, I'll get the horizontal stabilizers on and then maybe some primer! CorsairMan
Very cool. I've never heard of or seen one of these.
Kingoalie
I've only seen two, and I bought both of them. Supposedly, Admiral (AZ Models) has the tooling now and have re-released the kit with a resin nose correction, but I've never seen it. I plan to correct the nose myself-the kit doesn't include the very prominent landing lights in the nose.
Mike J. Idacavage
Great choice of a subject! I will be following your build as I also have one of the Gavia L-410 kits in my stash with plans for a future build. Have fun modeling! Mike :cheers:/>
Sentry30
Great choice of a subject indeed! Recall these being flown out of Norvenich after the reunification, curious how this one will come along! Daniel
