  1. Well, with the ability to super-cruise, and with 35K thrust from each engine in full zone-5 afterburner (70K thrust total), and using your perameters re: fuel, payload, etc; I would estimate at LEAST a vertical climb rate of 70,000 FPM - initial climb at sea level. Keep in mind that this climb rate is going to taper off rapidly at altitudes above 30,ooo feet due to decreased O2 levels (the automatic fuel controllers will limit fuel to the engines as these changes occur) - but initial sea-level climb rates will be nothing short of quite spectacular.
  2. :D There are two Sukhoi Su-27UB/C two-seat Flankers flying within the US now. See "Pride Aviation - Rockford, Ill." and follow the "SU-27 Flanker" links. $5 mil. apiece incl. spare parts & flight training. Pilot's flight manuals (converted to English) available for $500 each. $20,000 ("20K") PER hour to operate - incl. both direct and indirect operating costs (incl. a minimum of two full-time mechanics to maintain the jet). As the say, if you have to ask, you probably can't afford it.... - :jaw-dropping
