  1. Thanks very much for the link, and the tip about the New England air museum. I just checked out their website they’ve got a couple of proper oddballs there. And I will shoot an email to them and inquire about the Vought archives.
  2. Thank you for posting this! I had actually been looking for an in box look at this kit just the other day.
  3. Fantastic! Thank you very much!
  4. G’day all, I’m hoping someone out here in the community might have some idea where any kind of scale drawings could be found and any other references for the vought SBU-1 and the Vought UO-1. I would like to take a shot at scratch building both of these guys in 1/72. As far as I can tell the UO-1 has never been kitted in any form at all and the only 1/72 SBU I am aware of is the old esoteric vac kit that I have been trying unsuccessfully to find for at least ten years now. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be extremely grateful.
  5. Probably an extreme long shot here, but does anyone out there have an 1/72 attack squadron Grumman F2F they would be willing to part with? And I’m also looking for a CMR 1/72 Curtiss F9C sparrow hawk.

  7. Hey, to anyone who has emailed or pm'd me. I apologise for not getting back to you yet. I've been dealing with some pretty intense personal issues that blew up a couple days after I made this post. I will be working through my pms and emails over the next couple days and get back to everyone in hopefully as close to the order as I was contacted. I apologise again for not responding.

  9. Thanks for the hard work getting this place back on line Steve! I never realized how much of my daily browsing routine revolved around arc. Glad to be back!
  10. An overreaction to something trivial on that site?..... Must be a day ending in Y. You should have seen the S storm when mpc announced they were going to stop putting the stars and bars in General Lee kits.
  11. The only thing I geek out on more than modeling is fishing. I used to be much bigger into shooting than I am now. The price of membership to my local range has just become stupid. So I'm limited to shooting trap and skeet from time to time.
  12. Kaman K-max. The Marines were using them (unmanned) to make supply drops to remote places in Afghanistan for a while. Wiki page Attack squadron from Poland do a resin kit in 1/72. It is a truly gorgeous kit, I don't think I've ever seen nicer resin castings.
  13. The whiskeys have been in service long enough with th USMC to have worn a number of different schemes. From the the old green gray and black, to solid sand and sand and gray in Dstorm to the current grays. Looking forward to the 1/72 sheet Kursad.
