Chief Snake
Do any readers have any idea or photos of the current interior layout of the MH-60M? I am not seeking cockpit info, I am seeking cabin info. Chris M
hawkwrench
Chris, I've been looking for ANY interior pics of the MH-60M. I have scoured the net looking and I can only find 1. Here it is: This was the helicopter as it flew in formation on strikeeagle801's video with the B-25 up in Washington. If you come across any, can you send me the pics also. I'm trying to find all the MH-60M pictures I can to put them in my library. Thanks!!! Tim PS- I have no clue what that handle is on the rear of the bulkhead. Wasn't there when I crewed Hawks so it must be a 160th thing! Also, the new M models SOAR hawks have next generation floor armor as well as bulkhead armor. That's what the black plate at the crew chiefs feet is. Edited August 30, 2014 by hawkwrench
Chief Snake
For anyone interested, a contributor on Hyperscale has posted some walk around photos of an MH-60M in current service. He also provides a link to his site with a complete series of internal and external photos. It's interesting to see what's there and what's NOT there. 11bee
Interesting pics. From a modeling perspective, a couple of small details I noted were the rough texture on the radome and the Kevlar plates on the cabin floor and lower sidewalls.

The Chinooks are getting them too. When I went out there in August, there was only one Chinook on the ramp that had the armor. Aaron
hawkwrench
Well, i finally found out what those handles are for. They are the disconnect handles for the fast rope bar. These pictures are like hitting the jackpot as far as the new MH-60 is concerned, totally awesome pics. These will work great for my future MH-60M build. Great find!!!!!!! strikeeagle801
Well, does this mean I need to cancel my trip out to JBLM then? I've got an E-mail in to the CO to go out there again for MH-60M pics, but if you guys have what you need, I will write him back and tell him I don't want to bother him for nothing. hawkwrench
Aaaah, in a short answer----no!!!!! Please keep the trip, nothing like getting some more new pics of the MH-60M. Burn up your camera with this chance to go back out as long as the CO don't mind. And thanks in advance! Tim
