HI There,

here is my last tank done due to a break from airplanes.

The VCC-1 (Veicolo Corazzato da Combattimento - Armoured Personal Carrier) was based on the M-113 with the addition of an Italian made hull. Used from the late 70s it ended up the service near 2010.

This kit represent a VCC-1 (IRAQ 2006) from the 1st Regiment of the Airborne Military Police (1st Rgt "Tuscania") based at Livorno, Tuscany.

The model is scratchbuilt ecept the M113 Academy base. The Figures are a mix of several pieces.

The model is finished so you can follow the WIP from start to the end.

Cheers

Maurizio

Thanks Tank. Which hatches are you referring to? Those on the top of the vehicle or the triangular located on the sides of it?

Main turret assembly.

The top, rounded hatch, beige colored is from the kit, modified and then copied in resin.

The side hatches (for rifles) are made in plasticard and then made several of them in resin (for this and future projects).

The MG is from Tamiya and came out from my spare part bank.

Thanks for watching.

Cheers

Maurizio

Oils a very thinned.

Thanks mate!

The model is almost done. Drybrushing using the interior green, medium grey and radome tan depending by the different edges colors. For example: radome tan drybrushing job on the lower part of the vehicle due to the dust.
