  1. Regarding the Conqueror, suggest that you read the review on PMMS before you think the shape and details are right. I do agree that the fit is good.

    Need Prop

Hi Mongo, I have several spare as I have several failed attempts at this kit. Will you be at the Indy show, as I can bring one then for you. Graham Columbus.
  3. The only one that I have been able to find is from a company in Brazil in 1/144 scale, I think Liberty Models. From what I understand, it has solid resin fuselage, i.e. no windows, just decals, but quite nice. There is someone who sells them on ebay for about $35, I think the manufacturer, but I can't get on ebay from here. I will try and find it for you later. I have a friend that flys one, so I have contemplated scratch building one in 1/72 scale, but a haven't found good drawings yet. Graham Holmes

    RCAF Liberators

Thanks for your answers. The book that you mention is what I have been looking for, but it is hard to find. Since posting I have found that the mid upper turret was only on GR IIIs and later GR Vs had them removed as weight savings. Another question about the rear turret, what was the armament, 2 x .50s or 4 x .303s? Thanks

    RCAF Liberators

I am making an RCAF Liberator and have some reference problems. What type of rear turret were used on the GR V model? Was the mid upper turret installed or blanked off? Were the side gun locations manned with guns or as observation posts? What was a typical bomb load? I have several books, but non seem to answer my questions. Thanks for any help Graham
