  1. So I just saw this thread and attempted to click the link... It now only takes me to my verizon search page... Is this link still hot or did the company go out of business...? Is there anyone else producing a 1/48 A-12 conversion kit anymore??? Would love to find one and try to build an A-12...
  2. So I just saw the 1/48 Scale A-12 posted on ARC a few days ago... Where do I get this conversion kit from??? First I saw Black Robin Rezinz and now I see Kiwi Resins but not link or anywhere to buy these??? Any ideas if these are still availabe and where from???
  3. I have to vote for the NATC or the NASA cat... but one of my favorites not metioned yet was the NFWS powder puff..... I almost have enought data to build a model of it... the only question I can't answer (which I cant paint until I do) is was the underside the same camo pattern as the top side or was it a solid color grey or white like the later NSAWC cats????? Anybody know???
  4. Nope was talking about that wonderful Piper turboprop.... fun airplane to fly though had the handling characteristics of a navajo and faster speeds than a Kingair.... and the undeserved nickname of the K-Mart Kingair... Not to say I dont like Kingairs I have my share of time in both aircraft and thought they were both great....
  5. Well granted the last time I sumped my own jet fuel was when I was flying a cheyenne many years ago... and when I did sump it.. it was clear.... In the 121 airline world sumping jet fuel is a MX function.....
  6. Ya the scheme that I was originally interested in finding info on was the powder puff as shown above that was worn on NFWS 34... Once I had seen the picture of the "sand looking color" show at the bottom this page http://www.anft.net/f-14/f14-squadron-nfws.htm NFWS 30 it kinda became a matter of side curiousity... Didnt realize that it was actually a gray. Anyways I already have both the twobobs and hi decal sheets in 48th scale... but any info or pictures that you may have on those other two aircraft would be appreciated.... Thanks
  7. Well as for the powser puff with sand.... I have tried to upload off of my computer a couple of picture but the forum is telling that I am "not allowed to upload files with that extension" so no Idea there but heres some links to pictures of that scheme.... http://www.topedge.com/alley/images/f14a/f14anfwm.htm http://www.topedge.com/alley/images/f14a/f14anfwn.htm and it is also depicted at the bottom of the following page http://www.anft.net/f-14/f14-squadron-nfws.htm.... BTW how do you change the title of a thread???
  8. Ok so this goes back to a thread I started earlier asking about an older NFWS scheme the "powder puff" to be exact.... Ya part of my reason for looking into this scheme so hard is that I have a 1/12th scale tomcat in the making that I would have loved to put in this scheme... but anyways after continuously looking and even managing to narrow yahoo search down to two pages I have had no luck! While I can find a few picture here and there I still can't find any details and it leaves may questions unanswered... such as what the aircraft gray on bottom like the splinter or did the camo pattern cov
  9. On a side note.... Is VF-Decals ever going to do a reprint of the VX-9 / VX-30 sheet??? I would love to have one....
  10. I am currently building a bunch of tomcat models... Including a 1/12th scale twin ducted fan RC... Anyways I spend a lot of time looking through my squadron F-14 Tomcat Walk Around book and came across a tomcat paint scheme that has caught my interest, but I haven't been able to find much information about it... The Picture I have been looking at (for those of you who also have the book) is on page 17... It depicts a Fighter Weapons School Cat Number 34 in what appears to be a Flanker scheme but unlike the Splinters that I keep seeing (I have both the hi-decal and twobobs sets) that seem to
