Have a great time. Hopefully next year!

That was nice, that was! Met the JaPo lads (and acquired a copy of their excellent Dora Vol 2); took advantage of the '2 Lynn Ritger 109 books for £25' deal (whahoo!); met some cool people (one gent with an awesome knowledge of Hortens); drooled over the RB/MDC Ar 234 and Heritage Vulcan; found a cheap copy of Augsburg Eagle; saw Brett Green in the flesh; grafted a few funky consumables and models....pretty cool really.

Patrick

PS Whoever did the Landing Ship diorama (all five feet of it) deserves medals for a) imagination and :yahoo: persistence

Really did intend to go this year. As I said, hopefully next year. Have never been to a show, ever. Surely Mr Green must be the most recognisible figure in modeldom. Patrick, nice savings on the books. Any other buys?

Eduard Bf108 (the 'home' version is £7, foreign service £20: must be a good decal sheet...) Few other things: Hannant's order from the specials list (Ta154, FiSk199, 109H - think I had the last half-price 154!), elsewhere Pavla two-seat 163 and Hs129A, Dragon Wulf with slipper tanks etc. And the infernal Ju87 with the snake paint job that I really don't want to do, but know I will have to sooner or later :)

Neomega were also selling a nice little guillotine for a tenner, looks very useful, and am trying out these strange but interesting beasts (Berna Multiclamps):

Worth a nose. Got talking to a gent who turned out to have done a rather wonderful Bv155, he was telling us about how he didn't have the time to do boats for his awesome Bv138 diorama next to it, so *modified two schwimmwagens and built them instead* :redx: Inspiring stuff, I'd recommend...

Guillotine? didn't see that one, though I did buy a set of the Berna clamps, they seem like they will be very useful.

http://www.proopsbrothers.com/acatalog/Onl...Cutting_12.html - multi-angle guillotine :woot.gif: The Bernas look interesting, don't they? I'm going to try them out on the next model and, if they fulfil potential, possibly look for some more...

I'm totally out of my depth here - I'll just say that (as per the previous volume and the 109K tome) at first browse it's that equally informative combination of very interesting pictures and evident, painstaking research.

Awed... :)

Thanks, looks quite good for the price. I've got NWSL The Chopper II which is good but only does 30, 45, 60 and 90 degree cuts but this looks like you can cut any angle.
