I was supposed to do up a large scale model for them last year like this one....

Don't know what happened to that , guess they found someone better. (but a lot more expensive I'll bet)

Way cool, but I don't get it. Are these guys private operators flying training sorties? For who? Does the RCAF use them?

Discovery Air Defence Service ( yes...it's DADS) is a private company contracted to do military dis-similar training. They are using Alpha Jets right now in Canada, and they just started to use the A-4's with the Luftwaffe in Germany. I don't think we will see the A-4's too much in Canadian Air Space. There is talk of them getting F-16's, but I have no idea when, what they will do with them or where they will be based and/or used.

They also have Westwinds set up as target tugs and a few challengers set up for electronic work.

Are they former Israeli A-4s?

I noticed the extended exhaust cans.

Cool pics; BTW.

I know plenty of the pilots at Discovery, my ex-CO from my Hornet days is flying the A-4s. I don't think they will be limited to Germany. I hink they have already been contracted out through North America.
