  1. Norm Filer is probably welling up right now! Wow!
  2. If it was "reboxed" by Ace, it was probably an Ace original. Revell issued a lot of Ace kits.
  3. I should think the gun would work if properly aimed. The Navy's CWIS (?) is a gatling gun designed to shoot down incoming anti-ship missiles, so . . . .
  4. The thing I question is wouldn't the gun be a better solution? A lot less expensive than a million (?) dollar missile against an non-maneuvering, simple flying bomb. I dunno.
  5. One of the pictures shows a Harrier carrying an AIM-120 AMRAAM. It reads that the Harriers were modified for air defense, so yeah!
  6. Guess I'll have to buy another couple BPK kits! I've got to get the C-40 and I've got the T-43 and built the P-8 Poseidon. And I'll need another shelf.😐
  7. So will this be the new AWACS for the USAF?
  8. Yes, the AC stands for aircraft.
  9. It's the "new" Microscale that comes out with "new" sheets. They are mostly railroad decals, but still bring out "military" aircraft, too. Check it out. You'll see some redos of subjects we first saw from them back in the '70s and '80s, rearranged a bit, but can't vouch for the accuracy: https://www.microscale.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=MILITARY
  10. It's ALMOST enough to make me build another Monogram BUFF. Maybe I'll just "remark" this one:
  11. No offense comprehended! I just can't buy decals for a kit I won't buy!😊
  12. Externally, the VC-9 and C-9A Med Evac would differ mainly in markings. The bad news is that this is a Mach 2 kit.🙁
