MattP Posted March 3, 2015 Share Posted March 3, 2015 Do you think that the Lightning F6 would've had the AIM-9 dual-rails like the Crusader? I'm going to use a HAS Lightning as a base kit. I once had an idea to make the F6 belly tank into a wheel bay - and use F8 Crusader main legs and wheels. That would free up the wing for underwing stores..... I never got around to doing it though.
