  1. AFAIK there is/was a Revell boxing containing both types of rotor blades: no. 04446 HC-53 GS/G
  2. The Truck was reboxed from Revell not so long ago. It comes together with a Jeep and the price here is not expensive. https://www.scalemates.com/de/kits/revell-03029-jeep-and-m34-tactical-truck--144802
  3. And now? One year passed again since sep 2020. Still back in the hobby or in the next hiatus (like I do now)?
  4. Finding a CH-53D modell in the three tone camo is not so easy. At that time many squadrons already changed to the E modell. I remember seeing a pic somewhere of a D modell from HMH 463 "pegasus" sporting the three tone camo (grey-green-black). I would love decals for such a version because you can add the sand filters, fuel tanks and the tank boom! (And maybe a Browning MG in an open side door...).
  5. No need to wait for a reissue here! Have many CHs in the stash, even the first edition from the 80ies (got it when it was released the first time). But I support the suggestion for an IAF and Marines CH. Marines can be nice in the three tone scheme as well as in the olive drab scheme. But afaik the Marines had a special olive color. USAF in EURO1 would be nice, also... For a decent IAF CH a upgrade set in resin would be great! Many things are different or missing in the Revell kit. Already talked about it with Raanan Weiß some years ago but no results until today. 😞 For german
  6. I have the Blackdog set and the kit (boxed from Skunkmodels). You can add an exterior set from Eduard and the superb wheels from Reskit. The Coast guard orange AN 508 you can get from Model master acrylic series: 4225. I think it will be not an easy project for your modelling re-entry. But I wish good luck!
  7. Maybe there is somebody who can help me: I got a resin set from Cutting Edge für the AC-47 gunship in 1/48 but there is no instruction added. If someone has the instruction and can share it with me, or do a scan and send it by email or... I hope you can help me so I am not lost will all the resin pieces and no clue how to put them together. Thanks!
  8. Ows, too bad! I got some KASL products direct from Taiwan. I made some reviews for Kitchecker model journal. Try to send an email: k816059@hotmail.com
  9. I would prefer to udgrade my WP Talon with KASL Hobby resin parts. The also have awesome pilots with seats.
  10. Sorry for the delay, but a flue kicks my butt butt and have no energy to dig into my big Phantom stash. But I will do for sure! Not forgotten!
  11. The detail of the kit engines is sooo poor! Hope you can bring ehm to life with some good drybrushing and adding the ingnition wires. The gearbox crankcase is usually painted in engine grey.
  12. I will have a look! Few years ago I built it and backdated it to a F-4EJ. But I know the TACAN pod is already on another Phantom.
  13. You are right, the window is a bit large now. Why not make a correction by using masking tape when you will paint the fuselage? Btw. windows: most Daks have a small window in the toilet room, too. Monogram just made an engraved rectangle there but it is on the wrong position. It is over the cargo room. Same place but a bit more backward should be the pos. for the toilet window. But better check if your C-47 had that window!
  14. Do not forget the oil stains! HD engines are always leaking! hehe
