And it´s finally done!

I was beginning to feel that the build was starting to drag on.....was losing my build mojo.

It sometimes happens when you lose the love for the object you´re bulding...you just want it done with! Well I found my mojo again when I started experikenting with make up and pigments on the model.

That was really fun!

I will continue work with oil washes but I won´t shy away from pigments either.... odd tho that lately my builds are looking less and less weathered.....but I weather them more and more? weird.

THe build was quite straight forward...bit tidieous with the wings but that´s on me :P I´m a mediocre builder :P

The Eduard missile sets were real gems and worth every penny!

Less blabbering and more pics eh?

Here´s the pics!

Janne,

Once again, I've followed your build from start to finish, and as usual it was quite a journey. Believe me, your builds are anything but average, and you're no mediocre builder, quite the opposite. You're always looking for new and better ways to accomplish things, and share the good and the no so good with us.

Your F-15C is a excellent build, with an outstanding Camo paint scheme. Weathering certainly depicts a well maintained operational aircraft.

Well done my friend.

I would hardly call this one 'mediocre,' in fact, this is a really nicely done eagle. I like the subtle fading of the colors, could you elaborate more about pigments and using makeup? There's just the right amount of contrast between the two main grey colors to be interesting. NIcely done!

The end result looks ok, by mediocre builder I meant the actual glueing things together.....that's my weakspot and why I use so much putty : P

About the pigments....

I use a Tamiya weathering set.....that's pretty much make up, and actual makup. I use the applicator to rub in the pigment and draw it out with the applicator, the spongey bit.

Great looking Eagle!!!

Thanx Bravosierra 001 :D/>

Another superstar build.

Love Bitburg Eagles. Great job. That painting and weathering look spot on. Top-shelf work!

Thanx Andy :D

Janne: simply put I'd say "me like it"!

It's a very nice Eagle. You should be nothing but proud.

One question though: looking at the pictures I almost have the impression that the main landing gears are very slightly bent inwards. Am I right or is it a distortion by the camera?
