KursadA
I just saw the thread in Hasegawa's C-21 release. I don't know why I missed this before; it is a subject I would do in a heartbeat. Let me know if you have any suggestions. Edited September 7, 2015 by KursadA
skidbuggy
Connecticut ANG used to have a couple assigned between switch from A-10 to the C-130.
Chris D
I'd love to see something for the Phoenix Air Learjets. I know they aren't technically military C-21's, but their Learjet 35's are used for military EW adversary training. And they actually look more 'tactical' than the military jets. Some of them even have some tiger stripe camouflage. Chris
82Whitey51
+1 on the Connecticut ANG "The Flying Yankees". Cool black and yellow lightning bolt on the tail and fuel tank script.
scotthldr
I think the Ramstein based 86th AW ones would do very well on this side of the pond.
Pete
How about a Finnish one? Or a Japanese Navy one. Nice and colourful options, me thinks. Edited August 21, 2015 by Pete

KursadA
I obtained a kit during the weekend (gotta love that huge stash of pre-owned kits at King's Hobby) at started design work. I should be able to wrap this up in a few days. I'm glad I stumbled upon this subject: there are several interesting schemes, and it seems to be a nice, if somewhat unloved kit that could use some new decals. I will provide markings for both schemes (Colorado and North Dakota ANG) announced by Hasegawa for their new special release; so you do not have to hunt for the new boxing. I am interested in providing markings for Japanese and Finnish examples at least; but both of them require somewhat non-trivial modifications to the kit; so I might keep this a USAF-only sheet. I also need to figure out what to do about that missing window - I may provide a decal for it.
eraucubsfan
How about Calspan Lear? Linky It's always here at PAX
Koen L
FYI, the Finnish examples don't always carry that big radome under the fuselage.

I only have one kit at the moment of the 35 but I do have all three of the Hasegawa kits. I also have a decal put out by FCM if I recall of a 35 used by Brazil. That was going to be the scheme I would use. However with your decals I think I can add to the builds. As for the window, do you think you would be able to provide a template so we can cut it out? Actually, now that I think about it I could use the decal to do that right? As for schemes, I think you should stick with the military usage as that I think makes it different. A biz jet in civil marking is just that, a biz jet in civil markings. Just my opinion of course.
FlyAndFight
Count me in. I'm looking forward to picking up that new Hasegawa kit and would love to have your decals ready to go.
Crash Test Dummy
I'd vote for Phoenix Air Edited August 24, 2019 by Crash Test Dummy
KursadA
Those Finnish, Japanese and Chilean aircraft look really nice; but I doubt I will have the space on the sheet for the budget and price level I targeted for this sheet. They all need modifications; too. I guess I will decide this weekend when I finalize the layout - decisions, decisions..
Niels
This is a Nice recent one; http://www.airfighters.com/photo/163235/M/USA-Air-Force/Learjet-C-21-35/84-0087/
KursadA
The USAF C-21 sheet will be CD48096. I will post a description on the Web site soon, and will change the title of this thread as well. The foreign options and Phoenix Air aircraft are great, but there just is not any space on the sheet once major USAF options are covered. Maybe on another sheet if this one sells quickly. KursadA
We will start off the profiles with this one - this Ramstein-based 76th Airlift Sq. will be one of the six USAF options on the sheet.
KursadA
Keesler AFB was a C-21 training base for some years.
