No, it's the ICM-Kit. See here (Inbox-Review in german): IPMS Germany - Review in german

Since Vallejo Model-Air are mostly the paints i use for airbrushing, i let drop some paint directly into the cup of my airbrush, then i spray some windex into the cup before airbrushing. Works perfectly for me.

Hi latormentabritanica! Thanks for your informations about the ICM Mustang B/C-models! I think i won't try them, if they gave so much worries... The decals? Yes, they look really quite poor, but when used with REALLY WARM water, they work fine.

Hi dcandal! Wings: Tamiya TS16, Rattle Can. Big Panel on underside of the Wing and the Gunbaydoors with Alclad II, dark aluminium. Fuselage: Alclad II white aluminium (no primer used, worked fine), serveral panels with Alclad II dark aluminum and Vallejo Model-Air "steel" and "aluminium". After decaling one light coat with Vallejo Model-Air semigloss.

After all it was a fun build, hope you like it!

Hi Folks! Yes - again a Mustang! But this time not (quite) the well known Tamiya kit, but the 1/48 - copy made by ICM. The pros of this kit are definitely the price (about half the price of the Tamiya Kit ) and the crisp details. Why the details? Well, it's an about 95% copy of the Tamiya kit. You can even interchange the canopy-parts or the wings an the fuselage: They will fit! The cons: nearly every part shows flash and somewhere you can find bumps on the opposite side where ever structures are molded. Another point: The white plastic is very, very soft. Some will like it

...but quite thick!

Hey! Perfect job so far! Can't wait to see it finished!

Thank you all! @ The Migrant: For the whole plane i used Revell Enamels, exept the Gloss Coat for Decaling (Tamiya Acryl), the canopy framing was painted with Revell #83 @ chris cat: Done the old fashioned way: masked with Tamiya Tape, then a coat of the pimer (Revell #83), then two coats of the RLM camouflage. After that removing the Tamiya Tape, cursing about the flaws, removing them with a toothpick, laying back and enjoing a glass of beck's.
