Spruemeister
A fun, sometimes challenging 7 month build. I did not attempt to correct the issue with the hull blisters. Additional parts used were: Master Model main gun turned aluminum barrels North Star resin floater basket inserts G-Factor screws Gold Medal fire hoses and life rings EZ line rigging Scalemaster insignia decals on the Kingfishers Rick L. Brett M
Very nice work indeed! She looks great. Did you use EZ Line for the rigging? How'd you attach whatever you used? CA in tiny drops? Keep up the great work. Brett
Andrew D. the Jolly Rogers guy
Oh, that's a great one!!!
Spruemeister
The rigging is EZ line. I did use some CA and accelerator to attach the ends of most of it. A few were done with Gator's Grip acrylic glue, which I am totally sold on and will never be without from here on. Almost all of the brass etch is attached with the acrylic glue. Rick L. Slartibartfast
<Billy Crystal imitating Ricardo Montalban> Marrrvelous. </Billy Crystal imitating Ricardo Montalban> Which configuration? When mine eventually gets to the bench I'm going with DDay. Edited May 29, 2016 by Slartibartfast
Spruemeister
Pacific 45. The kit doesn't exactly match the D-Day fit, but it's close enough. Rick L.
