  1. Kittyhawk called for a mix of Mr. Color 20% Blue 05 and 80% Intermediate Blue C72. The topside color on a Super Etendard is decidedly "blue" to my eyes, so I would go with this, if it were me.
  2. Scaledown out of Australia makes them in resin. OzMods lists them for sale, but I would recommend an email to check inventory: http://www.ozmods-kits.com/scaledown-conversions-upgrades-148
  3. Besides there was/is a great deal of animosity between Lucky Model (who owns Kinetic) and AMK. IIRC it was over some reported distribution issues well before the F-14D finally was released and it led to Lucky Model refusing to stock AMK kits. So I doubt very seriously, that Kinetic would have purchased the CAD/molds etc. (if they even existed) from AMK due to this issue. I think it more likely that Kinetic chose to "steal" AMK's thunder by releasing a kit of the same subject, that AMK had previously announced. All that having been said, I have nothing more than speculation to go on.
  4. Dayum Dave! Leave it to the Marines to take over the World! 😜 Seriously, great job and highly anticipated too boot.
  5. The Indian Air Force flew both the MiG-25RBK and MiG-25RU. The Kittyhawk kit above is the PU model, which was the trainer for the interceptor versions of the MiG-25. The ICM kit is the RB model. So I guess it depends upon how accurate you are aiming to be? The ICM kit will get you much closer to an RBK, than the Kitty hawk will get you to an RU. Also be aware that the Kitty hawk kit of the interceptor which the PU kit is based, is said to be highly inaccurate and tough to build. I have not heard much about the PU kit, so I don't know how many of those issues were carried over from
  6. The instructions for the AMK MiG-31BM/BSM kit call for turquoise blue for all cockpit surfaces. Now, I don't know if that is totally accurate, but it is what it is.
  7. He actually explained why he responded that way in his post. You just need to read between the lines. 🤣🤣
  8. Terry, I don't know you other than as another poster on this board. However, that was one of the hardest things I've ever read. I am deeply sorry for your loss and I know nothing I could say will console you. Please know that as one brother to another, I stand with you. I also send my deepest condolences to you. Rick
  9. Well, if it is as I suspect, it could be another person from AMK Models and that person would be just as familiar with the internal workings of AMK. Honestly, the clue that led me to think this, was the Jennings lament. Martin was in fact around when Jennings was banned, although I am not sure others from AMK were. The "others" I am referring to, didn't establish themselves online until much later afaik. Either way, you are correct this thread needs to die already.
  10. Gotta say, the comments being posted by "Martin@AMK Models" seem to be completely out of character for the person I thought I knew? I am wondering if someone else is using that account? Hate to be a conspiracy theorist, but something smells fishy to me.
  11. Martin, hello again my friend! I am happy to hear that your businesses are doing well! I am also glad that you attempted to set the record straight, but sadly there are a few here that will only attack you for that effort. If you are attacked for those comments, I think you already know why as you so aptly put it thusly; "I can only assume that there are agendas at play here.." Do you know anything more about the Annetra Mi-17? Is it still on the way? Thanks my friend and great to see you healthy and in good spirits despite your numerous detractors. Rick
  12. Ya know I thought that's who that was all along. Glad to see the Admin's finally caught up with him.
  13. That makes you a mercenary wood butcher
  14. Sio, respectfully it is not my place to tell you how to run your business. You seem to be capable enough at it. However, speaking only for myself, these vague "I know, but won't tell" posts don't sit well with me. I do not believe this to be the appropriate forum for the airing of those types of grievances. Surely none of us here are qualified to adjudicate your claims, nor do we have the authority. I also do not believe it is an appropriate forum for the company bashing that has gone on here, tbh. Discussing the minutiae of the kit and potential fixes and workarounds on the other
  15. Listen, the stewardess in me resembles that remark! 😜😜😜
