One of the main struts. This one was 2 days work.

I improved the kit wheels, and because the rubber stuff in the kit is crap, i made my own wheels in resin.

First thing i laerned is that the A kit is not easily to make correct. You have to watch out with the period of the gun bay doors. So i made moulds to recast them in resin. Result:

The Zactomodels resin intakes, great stuff to work with:

I reworked the tails also, tomorrow i post some pics of it.

So i cut the 2 pieces off of the body and glued the on the vertical stabilizers, and made sure it all fits. Also, added more rivets.

Also, i gonna look for the fuel tanks, if possible to add more detail, the i will make a mould and cast them myself.

small update

Added some photo etch on the MLG strut. Looks like Eduard is not that good anymore, the detail and accuracy of their tamiya set is alot better.

(sorry about the quality, but its taken with my mobile)

Also, my first vertical stabilizer is ready, painted and decalled.

OMFG, i got the wolfpack cockpit in today, and it took me 3 hours of work.

I got even Lucky that i have found the wheelbay set, becuse i had to take the entire bottom from the tub.

What a pain, Wolfpack you suck, i bet this is for the tamiya, not the trumpy. The only good thing is that its a B model, the only one. Aires uses the D set as B model.

If i see your build i am thinking of starting up my old project. I used a Aires cockpit for a Tam. kit in a Trump. kit.

It fits very good, no problems at all. My experince with Wolfpack is not always very good. The details of Aires are also better.

Good luck with your project, i will joining you very soon.

new update

I added a wheel bay set to the list of extra parts, so the scratch work on the wheel bays is over.

Also, my build advanced quick now, sorry that i didn't add pics of the crappy fit of the pit tub.

Painted the cockpit

Also to fit the cockpit, i had to cut the entire plastic casted bays, so there was no support for all the doors. It was a pain to get all the gaps closed. Like you can see, there is alot of filler and Mr Surfacer on the doors.

I fitted the rest of the body. The MLG bays fits great next to the resin intakes. Also, the rivets that are wrong are filled, and panel lines also. Some are already rescribed, or added. I can add that the fit on the Zactomodels resin intakes are great bit the engine covers don't fit like it should. Here is a pic from the inside of the intake.

temporary the front panel inserted and added the HUD, also reworked the windshield a bit.

It had to be done because you could see in the fuselage. I helps to close the gaps later on.
