Action Figure to Statue Conversion

Hey guys. I decided to break into another figure conversion/sculpting project. The last time I did an astronaut based around a Star Trek figure. This time I was walking around Walmart and I found these really cheap, but surprisingly pretty well sculpted 6" WWE wrestling figures and for some reason, it just said "BATMAN" to me....well it whispered "I'm Batman" in that low throaty voice. So I said, well why not. It's cheap and I think it COULD turn out to be a pretty cool figure (that is if I knew what I was doing). SOOOOOOO....this is what I'm starting with. (sorry I threw away the package so I don't recall his name. I'm not a WWE fan.

He's got the right overstated proportions for a super hero so it's a good start. His face sculpt is pretty darn good. As good as or better than some "serious" figure models I've seen. His hands and feet kinda suck, especially his left hand being way over-sized, but for the sculpt I'm planning I don't think it will hurt.

I glued him in the pose I decided on and then primed him first in a dark grey

"Who says you don't tug on Superman's cape?"

And then went over with a dusting of white so I can map out the suit on him in pencil.

Next step is to fill in the seams and start throwing clay up on him to plan the basic suit features. Wish me luck and any advice is very welcomed!
