  1. It attaches to one of the centerline pylons in the kit. Isn’t it shown as part of the painting instructions too? I think it’s the shorter centerline pylon shown as #17 in the step that shows all of the pylons
  2. Isn’t the AUF-2 rack already in the kit? Parts H28 and H29 used in Step 66?
  3. Mig-29 9-13s don’t have vectored exhausts. They are fixed in position. The nozzles only open and close.
  4. I doubt it, since the kit (assume we’re talking the new tool kit, not the ancient 70’s kit) had the hard wing in various boxings. The RF-4C/E boxings came with the hard wing, and the Academy Vietnam reboxing came with both wings. To be realistic, the only different kit parts are the outer panels and outboard slat parts. The inner wing was always the hard wing, with slat actuators that you glued onto the underside of the wing. For the hard wings kits, you simply left them off. Your best option may be to see if someone has the Academy kit and isn’t using the unslatted outer panel
  5. And another AI chatbot has joined the forums. Reported.
  6. Me too. Now to see how fast their new “Lucky Air” shipping actually is.
  7. In stock now at Lucky Model.
  8. GWH has never been cheap. Right now, Lucky Model has a 25% off coupon, which drops the price to about $54. Shipping is $34 by Lucky Air.
  9. It’s a special tie-up with the release of the Duke Hawkins book on the Sea King. New Airfix kit with 3D printed parts and special decals to make one of the of the aircraft in the book. https://www.themodellingnews.com/2024/03/preview-sikorskywestland-sea-king-from.html#more I suspect this is a one-off, and there won’t be other versions.
  10. I have the 1/32 set, but haven’t used it. However, it’s better than the old Isracast sets, plus all of his other stuff that I’ve gotten has been great. That said, your only other option is trying to find one of the old Isracast sets, which aren’t as quite as nice, and for the 1/48 versions, were made for the Hasegawa kits because the new Tamiya kits didn’t exist at the time. For decals, Isradecal. You haven’t said which scale, though. The 1/48 set is available, but the 1/32 set is OOP.
  11. The Kopecky sets. For 1/32 scale: https://www.kopeckyscalemodels.com/product-page/32039-f-16c-barak-block-40-conversion-set For 1/48 scale: https://www.kopeckyscalemodels.com/product-page/48020-f-16c-barak-blk-30-conversion-set https://www.kopeckyscalemodels.com/product-page/48021-f-16c-barak-block-40-conversion-set
  12. Not out yet, so not sure anyone can say much. I’ve only seen the CAD so far in this link. https://www.themodellingnews.com/2024/01/preview-mengs-148th-scale-f-35i-adir.html Other than coming with some Israeli weapons (Spice and Python), I don’t see anything special about it, or anything to make me want to get it over the Tamiya kit.
  13. To be honest, this site has been abandoned by the owner and left to its own devices. Until Steve decides to change the forum software, or give moderators more power, these spambots are going to continue. Nothing is stopping them. It’s entirely their choice how long they keep it up, when they start, and when they stop.
