Laurent
http://scalemodels.ru/articles/7548-obzor-modelsvt-1-72-su-17m.html I'm waiting for the Su-17M2 (the plane looks meaner with the Doppler bulge).
pollie
Let's hope it is an accurate Fitter. That would be a start because the subject is rather overlooked by the kit manufacturers; the stuff that is out there is horrible (1/48 Kopro for example).
digit
Good news, new Fitters are more than welcome addition. Has the -M2 been announced? Modelsvit released Su-7IG a while ago but I would also prefer the newer variants.
Jennings
Wow! Here's hoping they'll do a decent Su-15TM as well!
ChernayaAkula
Excellent! Let's hope it is an accurate Fitter.<...> Their Su-7 family was reviewed rather favourably. Which is a good omen for the swing-wing Fitters, I guess.
ya-gabor
Good news, new Fitters are more than welcome addition. Has the -M2 been announced? Modelsvit released Su-7IG a while ago but I would also prefer the newer variants. The Russian review shows that for this new kit completely new parts were designed. It is an interesting subject and it was about time that someone did a kit of it. As to the quality we will have to see when it is in hands, it is difficult to say anything based on the photos. Ryan Hothersall
Can't wait to get one (or two). Will be interesting to see what other variants they produce.
mig21gato
The fitter family at 1/72, Thats nice
janman
Fitters rock! I wish later models will follow since I really do adore the M4...
Laurent
I wish later models will follow since I really do adore the M4... Including the Tumansky-engined Su-22s to do non-WP planes.
jozef57
Well, the Russian text indicates "most if not all" variants coming so we have something to look forward to. Jozef
ya-gabor
One of the things in my bag from Prague was this kit. Fortunately some sellers from Ukrain had it at E Day. It was around 18Euro and I would say it was worth it. Some clos up photos later on. Best regards Gabor
janman
Can't wait to see them!

Ryan Hothersall
Pictures have been posted on Britmodeller. Downside to this kit? One-piece canopy. Laurent
One piece canopy is not a downside in my view. For a 1/72 model, I tend to agree.
janman
Well, since I love detailed pits and the detailing work on pits, I can't agree. :) Now where's that M4 I was waiting for...
Berkut
Although it would be better if it was in two pieces, can't be that hard to cut it into two using a thin saw.
janman
No. :)
Sebastijan
Well, I did it without much sweat on my Su-7B
ya-gabor
Here is a look into the box of the Moldelsvit Su-17M. I would say that the plastic parts look very good if you take into account that this is just a limited run kit. There are very fine engraved lines, clearly drawn on the surface. Some fascinating solutions and a lot of fine details. Well lets have a look at it: The biggest parts of course are those of the fuselage and the wings Here is the canopy, I know it is in one part, but I think it is good as it is. There are two sets of decals to go with the kit and they are very nice a close up of the main decal sheet and here is the stencil sheet More soon Best regards Gabor
ya-gabor
A closer look at the different parts. As said before I like the surface details, they are very nice. This is the first kit that I have from Modelsvit, based on its quality I am thinking about getting some of the earlier kits they made of the Sukhoi family of strike fighters. Here is the top side of the wing, the non moving part of it. A bit more, at an angle this time to show better the surface details Still more of the same area Here is the fin and once again at an angle to show better the some of the details I like the way they have added some detail to the nose undercarriage side walls and at the same time also to the cockpit walls and to finish it of the part also serves as intake wall. Bit more Hope you like the details More soon Best regards Gabor
janman
Thanks, Gabor! Clever engineering on the cockpit wall/intake/gear wall part! Hopefully works in practise as well.
