  1. Kursad My suggestion for the U-2 set would be Major Rudolf Anderson, Jrs aircraft from the Cubian Missile crisis. U-2F, blue airframe with high vis marking, including the white 'U.S.Air Force' Cheers
  2. Just a quick note to say that the Ronin 1/48 VAW-115 E-2C decals are now available from Ronin Decals or Southern Sky Models, For more information - https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ronin-Graphics-Australia/570533299733906 Cheers Ryan Hamilton
  3. Ronin decals have been around for a number of year but have mostly printed decals for others who on sell them. All decals are screen printed and come with full colour instructions. A search on the Southern Sky Models web site under 'Southern Sky Models' or 'Ronin' will give you an indication of previous and current sets released. Web page - http://www.southernskymodels.com.au/ Most releases are of Australian or US military past and present subjects. Their sets are limited edition, usually limited to single runs and unavailable once sold out. They sell out quickly so reviews are hard to come
  4. Ronin Decals currently have these at the printers, available shortly in 1/72 and 1/48. Cheers
  5. 1/48 Hawkeye Crew Entry detail set Southern Sky Models is currently selling a Hawkeye Crew Entry detail set for the Kinetic’s E-2C Hawkeye. This set replaces the simplistic interior and consist of - * Floor * Starboard wall * Port wall x 2 (fwd APS & aft radio rack) * Support bar and wiring. The set sells for about $15.00 USD plus postage. Southern Sky Models can be contacted via email at – Southern Sky Models Hope this helps. Cheers Ryan
  6. Tony, I don't think so as I have it on good authority he has no friends......... Wet weather is slowing casting rate, It should be out before Expo, but more info shortly, Cheers Ryan
  7. This is the 1/48 Ozmods Caribou. This vacform kit was a commission build and has had the flags dropped and a full new interior installed. Decals are by Aussie Decals, Cheers Ryan Hamilton
  8. 1/48 RAAF DC-2 - Monogram/Scratchbuilt This project started life as a 1/48 Monogram C-47, but after the fuselage was shorten, thinned, and the tail, wings, engines, engine mounts, undercarriage, props modified or scratch build, I finished up with a 1/48 Douglas DC-2. The marking are for 36 Sqn of RAAF Base Richmond Parachute School. After some sound advice, the model has since been updated to remove the wing landing light (not present on the DC-2) and the main undercarriage modified. Cheers Ryan
  9. I ordered the 1/72 C-5 Galaxy off Blackbird over two years ago and I'm still yet to receive it. I too took the advice and called to ensure it was in stock, which is was at the time. It's a bit unfortunately as I have the masters finished for a resin update set for this beast - cockpit, wheel wells, completely new engines (four parts), fuselage detail, including APU etc - but without the kit to finish sizing the parts, the masters will probably stay where they are. Cheers Ryan
