ghatherly
Must buy just so I can build #558. Got to climb all over that jet as a ATC cadet in 1987 So who is GT Resin Products and were can you buy it?. Almost given up on SHM stuff ever being available to the masses We are a new resin company, but not new to modeling. I have been selling factory parts and accessories through my E store for two years, and now my wife has taken that over so I can devote myself full time to modeling and making high quality resin products. I want to make the items that no one else makes yet we as a modeling public really want and need, and quite frankly are tired of the part time crowd and their excuses for not getting it done, or here today and gone tomorrow. We are full time, and started this spring with some simple cockpit and conversion sets and business has skyrocketed. We only sell what we have in stock!! Here is the link to our web store. As Jake mentioned we are introducing a F-4G conversion kit with dimensions taken from MDD drawings. The "G" kit will come with a complete front and rear cockpit, exterior antennas, the distinctive "G" canoe chin pod, Slatted outer wings with correct 12.5 degree dihedral and correct panel lines. The "E" kit will feature the complete cockpit with ARN-101 panel and antenna, option of two different WSO upper instrument panels and side panels, and the same slatted wings as the "G" set. We have plans to introduce Recce cockpits with corrected tub for the Revell kit, and a Hollow nose conversion for the Tamiya kit later this year, along with other items. Our Web store is: http://stores.ebay.c...enter762?_rdc=1 Our Emai is : modeljetparts@gmail.com We specialize and only deal in 1/32 scale Tamiya, Revell, Academy, Trumpeter, Kineteic, and their offshoot branded US / Nato made jets...........period. Along with their accessories, munitions, etc. Now we also bring to market GT Resin Products. Please check out my builds here, and stop over a t LSP where I am most of the time and see product in use by myself and other. Please stop by our E bay store and check out the feedback from customers all over the world. Sorry to be so long winded, but you asked, and many thanks of doing so, and to Jake for be of so much help in helping us get started. God Bless and everyone have a great day!!! habu2
.... and are going to be released in concert with the Sierra Hotel F-4G conversion ... oh my, that sounds like a recipe for uncertainty and delays.... :(
B2Blain
oh my, that sounds like a recipe for uncertainty and delays.... :(/> Oh no. Not sure that means. I was too excited about finally getting a G conversion so I missed that one. Hmmm. I don't know if the two companies are related. I hope not. Maybe they got a heads up regarding the new decals and both decided to produce something? I hope that is the case. I need a conversion set for a Tam kit so SHM doesn't help me. NATS is soon so hopefully the they have realistic timeframes.
cr7driver
Very cool. Count me in for the 32nd scale F-4G sheet. Could you post some side profiles so we can see what the aircraft looked like in those markings?

Not affiliated with SH at all, but I know Mike and he and Eric they are good people. We will be bringing different approaches to the modeling community with our product lines. I have been working with Jake on this since the planning stage. I sell factory plastic parts for 1/32 scale jets on e bay and finally got sick and tired of not having what I wanted and having all of you guys in the same boat. My wife finished college, I am retired so she took over the E bay store and I live in the shop now making masters, pouring resin and building models. I knew Jake through the boards and we had exchanged emails over the last couple of years. He has seen my work, but Don Logan brought us together for this project. I am working with other companies and master builders to create other products to bring to the market for your guys. It should be a fun ride for us all. Just can't say in detail at this point. I can say that there will be some Recce stuff in the future, both for Revell and a conversion set for Tamiya. Can you all say rounded nose Recce's!!!! Many Thanks, Gary Edited June 2, 2014 by ghatherly
jmel
Very cool. Count me in for the 32nd scale F-4G sheet. Could you post some side profiles so we can see what the aircraft looked like in those markings? I'm drawing the instructions for all four sheets right now. I only have a few of the Phantom profiles drawn but I'll post them up very soon. Jake

phasephantomphixer
Phinally some of the BEST choices phor the Ef Phor is proper scale. So nice to have research come through on crew names - BIG STUFF! Only sound from my home this coming winter will be the sound of sanding and airbrushing...
ghatherly
Just so the Tamiya kit builders will not be left with a shorter range. I am including a 600 gallon CL drop tank with my Tamiya F-4G conversion set, and it will be available separately for the F-4E Crowd and F-15 builders that want to build with the correct shaped fuel tanks. More to follow. Gary GT Resin Products
