  1. Here the few pics I could find. Since there are not marked in any way, I cannot track down the copyright details. If someone feels I have violated his rights, please, let me know. Both aircraft side by side on the apron. Camel Smoker
  2. Third Ka-52 flying.. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_2BBc6-JDVWY/ShRA...%202009%201.jpg http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_2BBc6-JDVWY/ShRA...%202009%202.jpg http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_2BBc6-JDVWY/ShRA...%202009%205.jpg
  3. 655 (52-655) EE Lightning F.1, 6th Sqn RSAF
  4. That clearly shows the notion of most Iranians towards rhetoric of the few. Most Iranians feel either indifferent towards western world or even even feel certain sympathies. Wait, they didn't tell you that on FoxNews?
  5. Shenyang Liming WS-10A, if I remember correctly.
  6. Here is one, originally found and posted by martinez from Key Publishing forums, way too elusive not to be shared with you guys. The only photographic evidence so far was image from Google Earth. You are looking at the Holy Grail for all rare aircraft hunters all over the world. Enjoy. Su-24MK Fencer-D of Angolan AF stored at Catumbela AFB. Unique find, unique camo with no markings.
  7. You are right. Looks like Iranians converted some boom probe equipped tankers with extendable baskets so that they can refuel Tomcats, Fencers and Tigers.
  8. You absolutely made my day, Zmey.. Fantastic pic... sv51macross, standard tanker for IRIAF is Boeing 707-3J9C - equipped with dual system (both boom and two baskets)
  9. Anyone managed to save this splendid pic of IRIAF Tomcat refuelling that appeared on airliners.net for a shot moment only (photo 1473322)? I only managed to save this thumbnail, would love to see hi-res version. Thanks
  10. Two more pics: Su-34 02 and 03, dashing at full speed. Note external tanks, as well as differences between these two aircraft. http://spotters.net.ua/file/?id=14404&size=large A breathtaking pic of a Kazakh MiG-27 being flown in after overhaul in Ukraine. I have never ever seen any Russian aircraft as clean as that.. http://spotters.net.ua/file/?id=14246&size=large
  11. A small addition: Czech AF operated a number of MiG-21MFN aircraft - that is a NATO-compatible MiG-21MF I'd say these definitions hold up well for all MiG aircraft, and pretty much for Sukhoi, as well You could add following definitions: Some definitions for Sukhoi aircraft K - kommercheskiy - commerical (expotable) B - bombardirovschik - bomber K - korabelniy - carrierborne M - modernizovanniy - modernised S - serioviy - series P - perehvatchik - interceptor
  12. - the most obvious difference is that Mirage 2000-5 lacks a pitot tube on the radome. - on the leading edge of the vertical fin, the 2000C/B/E/N only have a main RWR sensor. French Mirage 2000-5F have another small sensor located underneath. Mirage 2000Ds have one sensor located above. Export 2000-5s have two small sensors there, one underneath and one above. - antenna layouts are different, as well but these also differ from version to version (Hellenic Mirage 2000Es have some different antennas from Egyptian 2000Es, for example)
  13. Respect! J-22 is correct..
