  1. Dutch, You are absolutely correct about the King Air Family, C-12 etc. They have been used by many many Military and Civilian units, organizations, and companies. I would have to lean towards the RVHP line at present, but the price is a killer. I'm really surprised no company has jumped on this Airframe for either 1/72, or 1/48. Once you started into that line, it would be a never ending collection ! Regards, Bruce
  2. Kursad, That CAF bird is absolutely Gorgeous !!! Revell's model is great, and should be around for quite a while. I have no doubt as she ages, that "Barn Door" tail will pick up quite a few amazing paint schemes !! .... To be Continued !
  3. Outstanding !!! I hadn't heard about the Demons, Paul ! It's about time we get an updated replacement for the Emhar kits. Any idea when they might show ? Bruce
  4. I have to definitely agree with Paul on the 1/72 Banshees. And while we're at it, the Hasegawa and Sword 1/72 Cougars could definitely need a little love also ! It's the "Nifty Fifty's" Folks !
  5. Trojan Thunder, Now THAT is exactly what I meant. Gorgeous tail markings ! Kursad ... there's a few ideas for you right there. And considering the C-17 still has many years of service yet, this could be the start of another "Family" of markings for you. And I have no doubt the Aussies will be joining in. What do you think ? Oppps ! After further research, I discovered that 99 Sqd's markings are already available ! ( A mind is such a terrible thing to waste ! )
  6. Thank you , RCAFFAN ... I just knew someone had to take advantage of that "Barn Door" Tail !!! I am a little surprised the RAF hasn't joined in ... That I know of. Appreciate the pic very much. There you go, Kursad.
  7. Outstanding news Kursad ! I too was a little concerned when the numbers were reallocated. And since I might have your attention for a moment, Anything for the C-17 ??? I just KNOW someone must have slapped some paint on those "Billboard Tails" !! Keep up the Great Work !
  8. Now THAT ... is really Outstanding !!!! Can't wait !
  9. I definitely agree with Gator52 ... Can't wait for the 1/144th version. My collection will severely increase with this marking sheet ! Plus I have no doubt we aren't the only ones.
  10. Kursad, Any chance of these sheets being down sized to 1/144th for us "Smurf Modelers" ?
  11. Folks, I'm gathering information for a project with the KAI F/A-50 flown by the Philippine Air Force. Anyone have any rough idea about the colors ? (Other than Dark Grey and Light Grey ? ) Really would appreciate any information on these birds. Thank you in advance.
  12. Folks, Just a quick update on this thread. Kursad is quite correct. I had a Hasegawa Late (F-16CJ) in my stash, so for the heck of it, I checked the tail. Comparing with late model FA-50's it seems like an easy mod to accomplish. The Hasegawa F-16 tail even has a panel line at the forward end of the Fuselage/tail blend. Seems like a simple mod to cut the assembly there, blend in the "hump", and you have quite a good representation of the FA-50's. The kit already has the gun vents in the kit - just not required for the T-50, so not mentioned. So other than some markings (South Korea,Indone
  13. Gentlemen, Thanks very much for the info and pics !!! At present, I'm finishing a Super Tucano in Mauritanian Air Force markings. But digging through the T-50 kit I have, it looks to me the gun mod for the port side is already included, just not spoken of in the directions. Of Course, now I've got to research that "F-16 Tail" and see what I can do. Really just love modeling the smaller Air Forces of the world ! Keep 'em coming, Gang !
  14. Kursad, First, thank you for the info. I've worked quite a few times with your decals and always found them to be of tremendous quality. I will say I'm glad you have some things ready to go for the FA-50, T-50, etc. Since I would say I might have some basic skills, and a few F-16's lying around, I guess I will have to start doing some research to see where the differences are. I will say I am looking forward to your sheets coming out. Also on another subject ... the EMB-314 Super Tucano ...I realize FCM is supposed to be doing a sheet 2 for the Super Tucano, but any chance of you jumping
  15. Folks, Has anyone seen any marking sheets for the 1/48 Academy kit on the T-50 or F/A-50 yet ? I know the Phillipine Air Force has started taking delivery, and several others have shown interest. I have yet to even see any sheets for operational KAF Squadrons. Considering this one is also in the running for the USAF new trainor contract, it could get interesting. Any comments on the kit itself ? I have the kit, and it seems quite decent to me ... but I'm definitely not a rivet counter. Any comments out there ?
