Since at least 2005 (limit of my first hand knowledge), helmets have been covered with OD (i.e. flight suit) green.

Thanks. We're probably talking the same color. I've got some pictures of a few gray ones back in the mid-90's at Topgun but they were probably the OD faded.

So could it be accurately said, then, that each single FTD sheet has more packed onto it than most manufacturers put on, say, 2 sheets?

It's the same material they make flight suits out of and you know how that goes. Still, saves the PRs the effort of trying to make 100 some odd helmets with different tape jobs look "standardized." |

Mmmmm, adversaries, aaaarrrrhhh
well, enough with the Homer impression Brian, I must say, the Bad Cats look absolutely smashing - can't wait to get them. Also the Hornets look fine - still I hope, all versions will be available in 1/72 as well - as they all look great. Again, I must appeal to you other 1/72 guys out there: Buy them, make sure, Brian and Mike will feel like doing all Hornets in 1/72 regards Steen |

Great job FIghtertown. I just received the decals for VX-30 F-18's from Hannants (UK) . Is impossible for me to find a single picture of BH102 in the net, or in the books and magazines I have for reference. I also checked your website but...no luck. Can you help...in any way?
Thanks |

Hi Brian
Any chance of releasing Adversary Hornets (FTD48009 and FTD48010) in 1/32? Regards, Greg |

HI all,
Maybe some of the specialists here have a pic of the F-16N 163572, 'Roots' '23' with the BlackBird logo on the tail? http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....p;#entry1769990 I put out an inquiry on several sites and nobody seems to be able to come up with the proof that the subject of Superscale decal set 32-133 really flew as depicted in the set itself...strange...I need references ;-) Best Tim |

Any details about possible weapons loadouts for the F-18s shown here?

So, arming a F-18 up to the teeth with Air-to-Ground-Ordnance would be pretty cool, but unrealistic?

So, arming a F-18 up to the teeth with Air-to-Ground-Ordnance would be pretty cool, but unrealistic? HAJO The is correct. I recall seeing a few pics of adversary hornets with some A-G stuff, but mostly blue practice bombs. Those load out exist but are probably rare. If you wanted a cool camo paint scheme realistic loaded with A-G I would consider the VFA-125 sheet. That squadron has their jets painted in camo schemes to play adversary role but the same jets are also used for training missions. I am just taking an educated guess here, but I would think A-G practice would allow some of their camo jets to be loaded with A-G (maybe even live ordnance?). |

Well, I already have the NSAWC-sheet, dumb me forgot which manufacturer. Itīs the sheet with 3 F-18s, one in grey grey green camo, two in brown, both with grey underside. All in 1:72 scale.
But I think just armed up with training F-18s, a ACMI-pod (?), center line fuel and maybe a MER with small blue bombs will look cool enough. HAJO |

http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Navy/...-18C/1300297/M/ To me it looks like the inner ones are missing, am I right? HAJO |
