starflyer
Hi Guys, today I "fight" with the wood propeller.....I tryed several techniques to have satisfation about it. So, I start to replicate laminated woods prop.....and I did it two times because I was unsatisfyed about result....watching photos about the original.....of course! Hi Hi because the original was in Mahogany, is enough to visit this website to know about http://www.woodenpropeller.com/Photo_Gallery.html .....what stupid I am! The third time I replicate Mahogany on my prop and now it looks right. I used Vallejo Mahogany specific to replicate wood, and it is fantastic. At the end I paint with oil (balck) to give the particular wood surface veins on the prop. Let's watch the prop thrill.... OK, beautiful...BUT TOTAL WRONG
starflyer
Now the right one!! Bye for now!
Jamie Cheslo
Wow! Both are great looking props! But I have to tell you, even though it may be the wrong one, I like the first prop with the mahogany better!
starflyer
Thank you for the comments...sorry, but I must replicate the original prop absolutely in mahogany, but the next time....a german propeller will be laminated wood style, it's a promise! B) Actually the prop si completely done, let's check my friends.... To be continued.......ciao
