Nieuport 17 1/32 Academy

Hi guys, :salute:

since my F-4E Israeli is almost at the end :salute: I start fast (I hope) project...total different, but I like Biplane airplane too :salute: !!!

Is the Nieuport 17 from Academy 1/32:

Step 01, open the box:

The kit is good, older, but very correct in shape and detail:

Step 02 Engine

I start from the engine, improving details of distribution on the head of cilinders. I scratchbuilt all mechanisms of distribution valves and paint the whole engine....

Hi guys,

I am here again with this project. I start to strachbuild the internal structure of fusolage, just gluing sprue folowwing the original drawings of the airplane....

Hi Guys,

today I "fight" with the wood propeller.....I tryed several techniques to have satisfation about it.

So, I start to replicate laminated woods prop.....and I did it two times because I was unsatisfyed about result....watching photos about the original.....of course! Hi Hi because the original was in Mahogany, is enough to visit this website to know about http://www.woodenpropeller.com/Photo_Gallery.html .....what stupid I am! :stupid:

The third time I replicate Mahogany on my prop and now it looks right. :banana:

I used Vallejo Mahogany specific to replicate wood, and it is fantastic. At the end I paint with oil (balck) to give the particular wood surface veins on the prop.

Let's watch the prop thrill....

Thank you for the comments...sorry, but I must replicate the original prop absolutely in mahogany, but the next time....a german propeller will be laminated wood style, it's a promise! B)

Actually the prop si completely done, let's check my friends....
