Super Bug Models
Hello Guys, When Super Bug Models bought Golden Dragon Productions, we found that there was suppose to be a 1/32 Scale B-58A Hustler. I can't give a date for the release of this kit, Man It is Huge!!!!! We are working on completing this kit in the near future. I've got some photos to show how big this thing is!! The background has a 1/72 Scale Concorde box. If you have seen the X-15 cockpit you can expect the same for the B-58 Kit. The Fuselage looks to be small, but I think the masters for the fuselage and main parts where to be vacuum formed to make the kit hollow. These Parts aren't finalized yet, I will show them when they are. I'm hoping to have the major parts finished this month. Happy Modeling Super Bug Models Here are some picture for you all to look at. Super Bug Models
One question for u as to the price of this kit.Or just a guess will work for me.Larry Well for the Price, That is unknown as of right now. I am not going to make a guess until we've got the Prototype finished. I am figuring that the kit will use about 2 gallons of resin to make. The 1/32 X-15 Cockpit Is Ready to Go!! So If you guys Want one you can get one from superbugmodels.com As of right now I'm not sure if Great Models Will Be carrying This line.
MoFo
When Super Bug Models bought Golden Dragon Productions, we found that there was suppose to be a 1/32 Scale B-58A Hustler. :P So when you say 'bought', how exactly does one go about selling a business to one's self? Whois Info for 'SuperBug Models' ...and the same for Buffmaster... ...and Golden Dragon. Notice any similarities in the name/address of the registrant? Yep, it's the same Daniel Phelps from Golden Dragon, as seen in this old thread. ...and Hyperscale diggings. And speaking of Hyperscale, a couple of threads from three years ago asking about the B-58 kits ordered four years ago: http://www.network54.com/Forum/149674/mess...gon+Productions http://www.network54.com/Forum/149674/mess...TLER+KIT+ORDER- At least the Aerodynamix guy didn't pretend to be a new person running a new company... Youngtiger1
You know, I'm not going to take anyone's side here because I never dealt with Superbugmodels or Golden Dragon Production but I did hear something in the lines that GDP owner ripped several modellers. The B-58 in 1/32 was announced several years back by GDP at the price of $600.00 plus and a few folks pre-ordered it but then nothing happen. No model were ever mailed or no funds were given. Like I said before, I am not taking anyone's side here but I sure would like to know what is going on with this company or the owner because for a moment I was really interested in the 1/32 B-58 until I heard all these rumors. LanceB
Anyone know a good shrink? Someone who "buys" their own company and finds out they were working on something they didn't even know about needs serious help...

Paraphrasing: "If I come down there, and you've lied to me. I'm going to be taking alot more than my $10,000." John
MoFo
FWIW, full credit goes to Gordon for the digging (Sprue Bros. does it again! ) about the websites. I was highly suspicious from the start (particularly given the fact that the GMW newsletter said the same person was re-starting under a different name, plus, well, honestly who *buys* a podunk little one-man, basement resin manufacturer? CE, sure, but one guy with half a dozen items, three of which are copies of someone else?!?), but never thought to check the registrations. I just presented it all so it was easy for ARCers to connect the dots and fill in the blanks.
