Hi,

here is my newest project - F-14A from Hasegawa. I am planning to make it as VF-84 Jolly Rogers. I will use Fightertown decals.

F-14A is a big fighter, below comparing with WWI fighter - Fokker dr.I smile.gif

First problem in my model was canopy...

I sanded it and polished...

Second problem is was Vulcan cover.

I change it with PE part.

WOW! Love the Jolly Rogers! Favorite squadron, when I build mine in the winter I will be using Fightertowns Jolly Rogers decals. Love that PE also! BTW, nice shine on your canopy! Keep the pics coming!

Looks great!!

A correction for you - The rear gun vent (NACA) with the triangle opening wasn't used on this jet. You want to use the part that has no vent.

Where did that PE come from? It looks great.

Like Brian I am curious to know who makes that PE part for the cover?

Cheers,

I was wondering how come no one complain of the Vulcan cover problem. Looks very good there!

Do you intend to make that PE as after market? Might be interested in some considering I have a few of this same A models.

And here I was thinking (upon seeing the thread's title & before I clicked on the link), that this is going to be another boring F-14 build.

Thank goodness I was wrong! Your work is awesome, Wojtek! 70.gif
