Back to modelling after 2 years: P-51b Mustang Tamiya

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

After 2 long (too long) years far from my beloved hobby, I'm back with a supposed easy build. The P51-b from Tamiya.

Fit is nice but there's room for upgrades.

Now I let place to pictures.

Please be kind, I feel like a beginner after so many time away from modelling.

Hope you like it.

Kind regards from Belgium

Thanks for the kind words, Jack

The pit has been mainly scratchbuilt, unfortunately i forgot to take picture before painting

The funny detail is that I have a True Detail 'pit for that model, but I wanted to reduce the use of resin or P.E. is this construction and build this plane the "old school" way. The True detail pit will go in another P-51b I'd like to build, a Tuskegee one.

Will do some update tomorrow as my model is almost ready for painting.
