HOLMES
Kevan and John..... WOW!! Nice shots of the Mirages.....there appears to be a lot of interest by the crowds gathering near them...Oh If Only....
Kevan Vogler
there appears to be a lot of interest by the crowds gathering near them...Oh If Only.... Yes, that seems typical for the F.1 in my experience. I think it's because a lot of people just don't know what it is or have only a foggy knowledge of it. For people who are more knowledgable about it's existence, I think these days it draws them in because they know its in the twighlight of it's career and they don't really expect to see one at shows so it's a pleasant surprise and increasingly unusual occurence when one or two do put in an appearance. It's lived in the shadow of all the various other Mirage family members and, by virtue of it's more conventional construction, not immediately connected in most people's minds to the Mirage name that is near symonymous with small, delta winged fighters. Kehlschinzki
I also like the F.1 a lot, especially the 2009 "tigerbird" of ALA 14 ( spanish airforce ): Kind Regards, Daniel
F106A
"Free Kuwait" F.1 - Not sure what they were doing with it, but we had to hold short while they towed it by us last summer (2008). If you notice the dust on it you can tell it had been sitting for some time.

HOLMES
This is the cockpit of the F.1 CR that I started this thread with. I was not that happy with it so didn't post it initially. I've recently diddled with it enough to pop out enough detail to make it worth a look: Very detailed cockpit....NICE photo by the way Kevan
Dndieje
Some detail shots from the Brussels museum. I was mainly interested in the flaps but I hope they are of some use.
