F-15 C Eagle Monogram 1/48

Recommended Posts

Hello Friends

I'm working hard on the F-15C Eagle by Revell / Monogram.

The kit is not easy, the groove is very bad everywhere.

The plane that I plan to make the F-15C-22-MC Eagle 78-0522.

This aircraft was assigned to Lieutenant Commander Rob Greater, Commander of 67th Fighter Squadron at Kadena, Japan in June 1997.

I will use Eagles Kadena F-15C / D decals.

Some photos.

Two fuel tanks :yahoo:

Oh? Two tanks as in "my packet's finally arrived?" Hope so, my mate from across the pond.

Keep up the good job, F!

Uncle, Wayne S, Ken, and Albert Fishwelding thank everyone for comment.

Uncle the package with the missiles and the tanks never arrived. ;)

"Uncle el paquetito con los misiles y los tanques nunca llego, malditos bastardos del correo.."

really nice work!

the area behind the cockpit, Bay 5, is most likely (probably) white, not blue/green, and the wheels should the C/D style

Ken, I'm no super expert of the Eagles, but I read that the planes after 1980 were white in the Bay 5, in this case their number is 78-0522, should not be green? Well maybe with the passage of time they were repainted.

The wheels in this kit are wrong is true, but I do not have the correct.

More progress soon

Thanks to All!!!

That might be a question for Murph.

This is going back a few years, maybe 8 years, If My brain is right, Murph had a friend at Kadena and I think their jets had white bays, for the time line your looking at.

Of course this is all going off speculation that my brain knows what it is thinking about LOL.

Asking Murph would be the best bet, It must of been him, I heard something from, because I don't know anyone from Kadena that I can recall of.

Hi Federico!!

Your Eagle is looking great!! Now tell me something: does this kit have lowered or raised detail? I thought that Monogram's Eagles had raised panel lines...

Keep up the good work!!

Cheers,

Gustavo.

Hello cousin :woot.gif: , if it is true the Monogram Eagle is raised panels. I Re-scribing some of them who disappeared with the sandpaper. Thanks for looking.

Some small and slow progress at the Eagle.

Ailerons, flaps and tail fins in place. Hard Work :bandhead2:

:rofl:Sheeesh...!!! pibito... That's a terrific-lookin' Eagle, even when ya're handicapped with havin' a bunch of bananas for fingers! So... are ya gonna come clean 'bout this kit being Hasegawa's instead of Monogram's? :P Very, very impressive the change this kit's gone through in yer hands, Fede guy! ;) Now, will ya please quit showin' off like a big-shot modeller?

Te estás pareciendo al pibe del Su-33, te aviso, ¿vio? ¿De dónde has sacado esa sabiduría? Me sees the flaps 'n' control surfaces fit superbly! No sabía que tenía un amiguito tan pro... Me likes! Congrats, my mate! Ya make us, South American chaps, so proud, bloke! :coolio:

Ahora andá tomate una "Yyyyesssssica" (¿o era Erica, Verónica, Valeria...?) ¡¡¡Patricia, Patricia; se me acaba de iluminar...!!!

Mirá por lo que me acordé:

FEDE,

your Eagle looking very nice! :)

What you used to detail the exhaust?

I have done similar work on the exhaust of my RF-4C in 1 / 72 using aluminum foil of a cigarette packet and plasticard.
