haneto
Here we go! This work was published on the Taiwanese magazine <The Power Modeling Magazine> Vol.2. And here's the in-progress thread: Trumpeter 1/48 J-10A, My first quarter scale kit after 15 years!
haneto
Some details shots. The details,if you still wanna call them, are very simple indeed. That's why I don't like 4th generation fighters such as F-22 or F-35. So toy like......
haneto
More! A million thanks to Viperbite who took the photos for me!(He's also on this forum!) Thanks for watching! :) Yufei
Qian
OUTSTANDING work as usual, Yufei! I like the finish so much! She's so EXQUISITE!!! :P Now that I've seen yours, I really can't wait to start on mine. :) BTW, I got mine from Tianjin.. during my industrial training there. :)

Guest Hoban Washburne
Quite nice! Well done. And despite the lack of features/details, I think you did a great job of highlighting what is on the jet, and making it look very good.
haneto
Thanks, guys! Yufei

Eastern
Hi Yufei! A real stunner you posted here! Very interesting thing that J-10A, just like bashing of Eurofighter, F-16 and Rafale. Great looking build and absolutely outstanding paint work on the nozzle! It looks like a real thing! Bravissimo! BTW, closer and closer to the only true scale. ;) Cheers and happy modeling! Alexander. Edited June 18, 2010 by Eastern
Aigore
Sweet! I specially like the weathering of the exhaust! Magnificient! Cheers!
haneto
Thanks,Aigore! And Alexander, thanks for the encouragement! My true scale is 1/72 and 1/32 maybe, but not 1/48. I have no 1/48 Tu-160 or A-50 to sit beside my other fighters, sadly. I prefer to make aircrafts of different types in one scale, then make a big diorama and compare the size of each other. Or in another way, make one detailed as possible as I can,but only in its biggest scale available, for single show. Clearly 1/48 is meaningless to me. I made this just for one of my friends. Cheers and thanks! Yufei
dragan_mig31
haneto i wonder when will you build a A-5,Q-5 fantan?
Matt Walker
Wonderful work!! How do you achieve the finish on the afterburner?? Is that actual metal that you've heat treated? It looks too thin to be plastic. Very nice. M
Matt Roberts
Yeah now I am worried about posting my build....finally got going and finished adding the missiles and those tiny...tiny airframe lights! Looks like I may have to repaint a couple of my antennas... Also for applying all those stencils  Now I look forward to you intimidating me when you start on the J-8s when they are released Matt
viperbite
I was lucky to see the actual model, stunning build as always. Made by Yufei is some kinda "the best quality modelling" now:)
haneto
Thanks for your feedback! That's my energy for modelling. Some pics from Motion Emotion of AL-31F nozzles. Both 1/48 and 1/72 will be available soon. 1/48 is for J-10,and Academy Su-27 which has a smaller diameter size(As you can see two pedal parts are available). 1/72 is for J-10 and Hasegawa Su-27. Will keep you guys updated. Cheers, Yufei Edited June 26, 2010 by haneto

haneto
Great looking nozzles!!I just wanted to know if they intend to release the one for Trumpeter's Su-27? I mean 1/32 scale, of course.;) Cheers! Alexander. It's an honor to be prised from a talent modeler like you,Alexander. Thanks! 1/32 version is actually available by Pitzmodels from Germany. I personally bought them and they are also very nice indeed! I'm now making some exercises to make the burnt effect from real metal. Cheers, Yufei
