I was wondering how many of each of these will be included in the 1/72 NATO set. It seems they like to put in sets of four per type and I hope thats the case but thats a TON of weapons!! This would be awesome!!!!!!

SW-72002 1/72 US/NATO WEAPON SET includes:

GBU-39
IRIS-T
GBU-24
GBU-10
GBU-38
SNIPER XR
SLAM ER
AGM-154
AGM-84E
AGM-84H

Google is right, but Hyperscale is wrong. Look at the pic of the box. Says 1/48. So does the summary. sad.gif

Guess we'll have to wait for Raymond to give us some further info.

Ah, I see.

Well, considering all other Skunk Works sets have four of each, that would be my bet.

Cheers,

Andre

Let's give the Skunks time to work their magic. It was indeed two weeks ago that Raymond said they'd be ready in two weeks (yes, I have a reminder in my Yahoo calendar!), but they may need another week or two.

All good things....

And another two weeks have passed..... I´ve been holding off buying the Israeli weapons set in 1/72 so I can do a ´combo´ order for a couple of sets.

Anybody heard anything about the 1/72 NATO set??

Really wish we could get some info on this. No one can even tell us what/how much is included? This is a pretty awesome release to just throw out and not release any more info about it. Though I am sooooo greateful for the GBU-39's. Come on, someone who knows spill the beans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guys, I was just browing through product description for the new set. It lists the AN/AAQ-32 pod - which is only utilised by UAE's Block 60 F-16E/F, could it be a typo error since the Sniper pod is desginated AN/AAQ-33?

Yes! banana.gif It's back up at the Lucky Model site, and available for preorder. It lists a release date of July 2010, meaning it should be available in the next few days laugh.gif

Thanks for the heads up, bartkoh!

Thanks for the heads-up! 70.gif

Looks like the GBU-38 and Sniper XR were dropped. sad.gif Bummer! Was looking forward to these two in particular. Still, looks like a nice set! 70.gif

On the other hand, am I wrong or does the left pic in the top row show a twin store carrier with GBU-38s? unsure.gif

Looks like it! And the big picture on the boxtop gives away Kinetic's next release: an 1/72 Polish F-16D Block 52+!

^ Oh, that's most interesting! 70.gif

The text mentions that Sniper XR will be included. That either means that the AN/AAQ-32 ISTR in the NATO weapons set is a spellie and they actually meant the AN/AAQ-33 Sniper OR that we'll see an F-16E/F Block 60 from Kinetic in 1/72 as well! w00t.gif

As for the 72nd Kinetic Vipers - I'd expect anything we have seen in 48th will show eventually in 72nd.

Has anyone looked at the 72nd Sufa to see if the sprues and parts are the same as the 48th - just scaled down?

eah those def are 1/72 gbu-38's on a dual rack. Either they posted pictures of a 1/48 bird, well get a surprise in the new set or they will put out yet another 1/72 set!!! Id also like to know if the 1/72 sufa is a scaled down 1/48 kit ......

Also, I dont think its a spelling error because IFTS applies to the -32 only. Id think they would get that right. So it seems four of those will be included and that kinetic will release a 1/72 F-16F!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
