So for the ARC website a leader in reporting news from us, the end of September from us will Profiline news and Hughes model 269 in 1:48 scale. The model will also include parts for a licensed version Schweizer 300, that will be released as the second Item. Versions are also planned with floats.
Engine and instrument panels are produced such as resin parts and the best rendition of detail. The engine is completely exposed and I think that part made of resin material is very attractive. In photographs the resin parts are not shown.

Looks good. 1/48 seems like it would be pretty small. How about a 1/35 model?

Color schemes are not yet chosen - some interesting suggestions?
In the kit there will be about 6 color variations.
Do not you have photos to float Hughes 269 as she flew on the ship Calypso - Jacques-Yves Cousteau?

1:35? Sometimes the future - why not ?!

Best regards

Definitely need to do a US Army TH-55. And maybe a JGSDF example as well
Cousteau Society for the float version would be great!

Looks like a very well detailed kit. I wish you the best with your business and as noted above, I also would love to see what you can do in 1/35th scale. Any interest in a large scale UH-1H? smile.gif

Regards,

John

Ditto on the large scale UH-34!! That and the UH-1H are my top two picks for 1/35th helos. I would think that from a business standpoint, these would be good candidates since there are multiple versions of each that can be issued with only minor new parts additions and given the very large number of nations that flew these, there would be good international interest in them.

As you said, we can only dream.

This is a cool new model! There's never been a really good kit of this classic little helicopter. As a bonus, an easy conversion can be performed to build the Sikorsky electric helicopter:

Cool. Do you need any photos for decals. I have obviously TH-55A photos but I also have the Baltimore City Police Department markings. Email me at fwernerjr@comcast.net .

I'm in for one of these. I'd actually love it in 1.35th scale but beggars can't be choosers. LOL Good luck.
Floyd

Try this website http://mysite.verizon.net/vzesdp09/baltimo...kley2/id32.html
This is a personal website and not necessarily the view of the police department, aviation unit or myself.

Maybe an EC-120 model would be nice. LOL How about a good AH-1G in 1/48th scale?

Stepan,
I agree that there should be a TH-55 option like this:

Here is a OD bird that was used by the Army Aviation Test Board:

If you are looking for colorful, here's another interesting scheme:

I have more shots of all of these birds if you are interested.

That's modified factory delivery colour scheme - the orange wasn't standard. Personally I'd love to see the delivery scheme included. From a decal standpoint it would be very minimal.

My grandfather was killed by carbon-monoxide flying his Hughes 269A on a powerline patrol.

Stepan, i wish your business grow and make a lot of good helicopter models.

I would make mine like this, its from my El Salvador air force:

Greetings.

Hey Ray,
Cool pics!
I believe that is the YHO-2, the predecessor to the TH-55. That would sure be a cool scheme.
The YHO-2 was in competition with the Sud Oest Djinn cold-tip-jet for a light observation helo contract.
I'll have to see if I can dig up some of my Djinn stuff for the "Flight Test" thread

The YHO-2DJ was up against the YHO-1HU (Sud Ouest Djinn) and the YHO-3BR (Brantly B-2). Apparently the YHO-3BR was disqualified at some point for failing various requirements. I'd be very interested in seeing more on all 3 of these helicopters.

The Royal Thai Army also operated the later TH-300C, which would be another color scheme to consider.
