GatorGrad84
My first project of 2011 is Academy's P-38L Pathfinder. With the very limited reference material on this variant I'm kinda winging it. The cockpit minus seat and control column. Radar Operators station with complete artistic license. All closed up. Thanks for looking.

GatorGrad84
Been moving a little slow on this one but have got to the painting stage. Should slap paint on it this weekend. I need your opinion on one aspect ARC nation: I found some pics of the actual plane that Academy provides markings for. The nose of the plane seems to be a different color than the metallic finish. I'm figuring the nose/radome was similar to the P-61 with probably some kind of fiberglass or plastic construction. What color do I go with, white, a tan color, or is it something else? You look and decide.
JMan
WOW, love this plane. I actually did not know that this had an RO in the nose portion of the plane. Awesome, can't wait to see more! Jeremy
GatorGrad84
A little paint has been added. Lots of touch-ups to be made.
GatorGrad84
Further weathering and some decals added. Turbo-charger, still have to put the exhaust on. The color I ended up with on the radome, MM Sand.
