ikar Posted October 24, 2014 Share Posted October 24, 2014 Here's one I caught that was lost, low on fuel, no radio. They saw a runway and made an emergency landing, amazingly without causing an accident. The aircraft was immediately met by a follow me truck and a couple base defense jeeps and a 706 armored car. Weapons were minimal, a .50 cal. under each wing. The pilot and back seater were released, refueled, pointed in the right direction and sent on their way a couple days later.
