Will start off with the 1:72 Revell MiG-21F-13 kit. Using decals from Print Scale.

MIG Air force of the Vietnam war

Still haven't decided on if I will use the kit UB-16-57 rocket pods or go digging in the spares for a couple of AA-2 Atolls.

Personally I would prefer the photos within the post instead of having to go offsite to view them. It's not very difficult to insert images into the build post.

Just my opinion. :whistle:/>

BTW Ryan, nice progress on your build. Can't wait to see it finished.

Cheers,

John

Got the undercarriage painted and wheels attached, added the missiles, they are spares from a Zvezda MiG-21, as this kit comes with training rounds of the Atoll which had to be cut from the missile rail.

Looking at various pictures I got the impression that North Vietnamese MiG-21s only had two insignias plus numbers on the fuselage and nothing on the wings, while others have made the mistake of putting them on the wings.
