All,

while looking at the promodeller wash I came accross Hobby-Tec modelling wash (yes on evilbay)

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MODELLERS-WASH-TRIPL...ts_ModelKits_JN

has anyone used this vs promodeller..... the pack they have on offer are 2/3 of the colours I would like (rust might not be as usuable to start) at a slightly cheaper price than the PM stuff....

thanks guys

guys, need your advice.... thinking of a WHIF scheme that is tri-colour green (its a WHIF Recce MB326 of the Argentine ARMADA). What I am considering is something like:

(dont laugh)

as I am in the process of building the Acad Dragonfly I will already have

Medium Green (Humbrol 117)
Dark Green (Humbrol 116)

what I need is a 3rd (I guess lighter) green..... any recomendations or anyway I can work out a complimentary colour?

on a follow on note - underside? If I look at a similar scheme A10 then the underside could be camo aswell - but something tells me that a recce/electronics platform would not be that way - is that a correct thought - if so should I be looking at a dark grey (have various greys in my collection so will just go for one (perhaps Humbrol 140 for example)

thanks in advance

Does anyone have photos of a deployed A-37B Dragonfly airbreak? I have tried the usual places (mainly prome portal) but can only find 1 photo of it from directly in front so cant see any of he rear surface detail.

cheers guys

Coming soon, the Academy A-37B Dragonfly... Saw a finished one of these on ARC and thought that it was one mean small aircraft. LHS had one in so snapped it up. PLan is to add a bit of detail to the cockpit (nice big canopy to finally show something), drop the flaps, slightly alter the angle of the rudder. Not sure which finish or how I will arm it just yet - there is a neat photo of a grey camo USAF version with low-vis markings but those arent included in the kit. Probably go with the Vietnam era version (other in-kit is South Korean).

Anyway, photos of box & spures to follow then onwards & upwards.....

does anyone have photos of any open panels on the nose (or elsewhere). Found some - detail of the chain gun in the nose, some (radar?) on the opposite side. May look to open a few panels so looking for as much detailks as possible (no walkarounds on here for example)

thanks in advance
