I added a Pavla cockpit set to it. I used the Trumpeter PE instrument panel with the resin set. Most of the issues I had with this kit are mostly my own doing except for the windows over the camera bays. They fit terrible. If or when I do another I am going to fit the windows in BEFORE I paint. I am surprised at the size of this thing. My P-47's look small compared to it.

Thanks and all comments are welcome.

Are the re-enforcing strips on the early Wyvern canopy's white or are they clear? I am doing the Trumpeter Wyvern (early version).

Thanks,

My current torment project is as stated the XP-55 from Czech Model. It has resin for the cockpit and landing gear bays, and a vacuum form canopy. As it is a short run kit it has no location pins and the fit is suspect. I have the wings partially together and am getting the nerve up to try to put the fuselage together. I think I will need a 3rd or 4th hand to put it together.

All comments welcome.

The only thing extra I am adding to the kit is Quickboost's ejection seat. I am trying to make it a quick and simple build to get me back in the mood to build (or finish a kit actually). The control stick is painted now and I have closed the fuselage. More pics to follow.

Thanks and all comments are welcome.

Anyone have some good pics of the nose gear and main gear of an CF-5? I am doing the CA F-5 and am doing it up in Canadian markings.

Thanks,

Wayne Beattie
