  1. Hello there, :coolio:

Now I'm sharing again two nice shots of our products. This time it's from CDR Bob Geis, CO of VFA-211 Fighting Checkmates with his Command Master Chief, and Sailor of the Year. They're holding one of our W1 size VFA-211 Rhino prints in front of their CAG. This photo clearly shows the size of the W1 prints :)

I hope you like them!

  2. Hi there

I haven't done too much recently, as I'm extremely busy, but here's something to break the silence. This Dual Series print depicts the 2 Vikings displayed at the decommissioning Ceremony.

    S-3B Viking VS-24 Scouts, AJ700 / 159732 and AJ701 / 159747.

I hope you like it! Thanks for Dutycat for the references!

  4. Hey Gil,

Sure, If not 200, then 201 if those were looking the same HiViz! The 89 CAG I'm talking about looks like this:

    Dave,

Maybe you have the info I'm looking for? If so drop me a mail, and we talk about it ;)

    Greetings, neu :)

    neu,

I was on the 89 TR cruise. In my cruise book, there are a few good pics of 200. I will try to look at it when I get a chance and see if there is a good shot with names. If not 200, maybe 201? They were both painted up the same.

  5. Hi there :tease:

I was a bit behind with the VF-84 Jolly Rogers Tomcats, so now I make one step to help on this situation :) There will be other VF-84 Tomcats coming soon!

This time it's the famous Flag Tail version. The flag was painted up for this CO bird right before the return to NAS Oceana from Operation Desert Storm. An interesting fact, that during the combat, it was a heavily weathered low viz jet.

As usual, it's available in all 5 sizes!

  7. Hi there :tease:

I just realized that I was doing lot's of Jolly Rogers artworks already, but there's only one VF-84 Tomcat, so I want to change on this terrible situation :) I have lots of photos, but I'd need some help.

I'd need to find the following information:

    • port side crew names of the CAG on 1989 (the BuNo was 162688)
    • same for 1991 during Desert Storm (it was the black/white version then)
    • Any valid line bird BuNo/Names combo from 1991

I'm just done with the artwork for the Flag tail JR CO bird.

    F-14-039-W1.jpg

This was paitned up after Desert Storm, right before returning to NAS Oceana and was removed by the end of the summer. But if I could find the BuNo and Names for the 91 CAG and a line bird, I could make a print depicting these 3 paintschemes, which would look pretty awesome together I think!

    Any help is appreciated!

  8. Hi there :)

I just thought I show you the current phase of the VFC-111 CO bird that was requested by the unit. It's far from finish, but it shows some beauty already!

I hope you like it! My plan is to make all different aggressor F-5E's. Later further USAF and foreign Tigers will be made as well!

  9. Hi there :sunrevolves:

We've just finish with 2 more profiles for the guys at CT ANG. They are loosing their jets, so we decided to make some memories for them. This time we were working on the famous Black Lighning hog, which was painted up with the traditional black lighning bolt on the fuselage for the 80th Anniversary of the unit. It was first applied on a P-51 Mustang exactly in the same form. We depicted the jet with the original 80th Anniversary markings from 2003, and the last paintscheme from last year, it's a bit more weathered. The tails are slightly different as well.

I hope you guys like them!

  11. Is there any difference inside between the LANTIRN and LITENING? I mean apart from the vent stuff, it looks exactly the same, which means to me that LITENING was developed based on the LANTIRN. Is this an improved LANTIRN, or it's the same stuff, and only the vent is different for some reasons?

    Greetings, neu :)

  12. I think it's 1x MK-83 (maybe 82, but rather 83), 2xGBU-12 and Litening pod. I cannot see anyhing else there other than the empty dual Sidewinder rails.

    Intereting config, thanks for posting!

  13. Hi there

I know it should have been done for a long long time :P BUt now it's here, and it's really up to date! I used reference photos the unit have taken for me just 2 days ago aboard the Eisenhower. It includes the most recent mission markings, names, and the battle E award on the tail. I think we can say, this is the best looking line jet ever! As an interesting sidenote, 201 is Low Vis now as you can see, and not colorful like before!

Also as usual, it's available in the "Dual Series" as well:

Thanks for LCDR Andrew "Jinx" Hayes (VFA-103) for providing awesome references for these and all other Jolly Rogers Rhinos!

    I hope you like these!
