  1. I used to remove the seam with a blade/hobby knife, sand it with different sandpapers. Then I use toothpaste (old, and cheap one!), and then a dremel tool with polishing head to finish on a not too high rev, becouse it can couse damage (melt). It's working fine. I used to repair my cellphones display aswell with this method

We made this decals with one of my friends. We're thinking to make the whole airwing on 1 sheet, and sale it. But still needs lot of work, as it has many drawbacks. BTW it's on an extra thin decal film, it simply like disappearing after applying, even without decal solver. Applying Mr . Mark softer just made it perfect.

I really wait to make the sidewinders, as there's a full stenciling for it and for the other weapons.

    Greetings, neu

  4. Here's an update of my hornet. It has decals representing the VFA-195 Dambusters CAG Bird (NF-100, USS Kitty Hawk/NAS Atsugi). Not too much comment this time...starting weathering  This time a 1 cent as size reference for my modeler friends in the US

  7. Hi there!

I'm new to this group build! I hope you like my stuff, I'm keeping updating.

This is revell's 1/144 F/A-18C, one of the few kits that worth spending money in this scale. It's a very nice kit, and this was the reason why I decided to superdetail it. I've made several mods and detailing. Some of them:

    - Folded wings with folding mechanism (still in progress)

    - Dropped Slats and flaps, stabilizers, rudders

    - Scratchbuilt "winglets" (near behind the canopy, I don't know what is it in english)

    - Scratchbuilt flap "joints" on the fuselage (still don't know what is it in english :) )

    - Added all the seatbelts and other details to the ejection seat

    - Detailed canopy opening mechanism and area behind the seat

    - Scratchbuilt "humps and bumps" (small sensors/antennas or whatever :) )

    - Modofied pylons

    more to come...

Just for size comparsion: 1/32 A-10A Cockpit :)
