Thanks for looking. Let me know.

  2. Is it scratchbuildable? That will totally work because you might end up making the part better than it was before

With my scratch building skills (or severe lack thereof) makes that not a good option.

  3. Somehow my entry from yesterday ended up archived, so I will try again. I am in desperate need of part A-2 for a Trumpeter 1/32nd scale A-4E, kit number 02266. It is somewhere down inside the fuselage hiding and cannot be shaken loose regardless of how I test the strength of my glue seams. Taking it apart is not an option. Anyone have an extra one? Thanks.

  4. I helped on this project, slightly, providing drawings and manuals. So I have high hopes for them. Wish they were in 1/48th or 1/35th scale though. LOL

Anyhow, in reference to the blades. Later models of the S could have been fitted with the Kaman K747 blades or the Bell B540 blades. The Iraeli aircraft have the K747 blades.

I flew the first Q's through the Mod-S to the Prod S ECAS and they all had standard blades. The KAMAN blades were just starting to be fielded in 1980 at Ft. Campbell. I sure would have liked those blades on Q models!

  5. Hello Guys,

I was wondering if you could help me out.

I am getting into WWI aircraft, and recently attempted to do rigging with stretched sprue, but it is very prone to sagging and I can't get it right at all. I found about E-Z Line but it can't be sold to individual customers outside the U.S. unless you buy 20 spools.

Is there anybody who may be able to sell a spool of E-Z Line outside the U.S. (Mexico)? I am willing to pay through paypal and cover shipping as quoted by USPS to Mexico.

    Thank you for your time!

It can be ordered direct from Windsock Wings for $16.00 per roll. I ordered one roll a year ago and got in in a few days. Go to http://wingnutwings.com/ww/decalsandaccessories and you will see it there.

  6. HobbyTown USA in Alabaster is a great shop, and not the typical HobbyTown. Great selection of armor, good selection of aircraft, fair selection of cars. R/C, metal detectors, doll houses, etc. are there, too. They have a good selection of magazines, paints, resein casting supplies and a lot of varied after market stuff. Steve Sanders is a modeler, knows the hobby and will exhaust al efforts to find something for you.

  7. Hi Chad, I agree! I used his Cobra set on a recent coversion of a G model Cobra so I cant wait to perk up the Huey with this set, and your right his Huey stuff is a HUGE breath of fresh air for guys that like to build choppers especially the all mighty Huey! Oh and Nice to 'meet' you! How far away is Pinson from Fort Rucker? Rich.

    Rich,

I'm about 20 minutes northeast of Birmingham, so it's about 2 1/2 or 3 hours from here. The last time I was at Rucker was for Flight Safety's C-12 course in 1986.

  8. Actually the resin set that is out now is the UH-1 'Survivability' set that includes the toilet bowl, WASP cutters, heat shields Improved particle separator etc and is intended to be used to modernize the Revell kit to current standards. I just recieved that set and like all their stuff it's fantastic. There is another UH-1 resin set on its way from Fireball that is strictly for Medevac Hueys as well as a decal set for the the 'FlatIron' Hueys that operate out of Fort Rucker. Needless to say I'll be snatchin' a few of those when they hit for sure!! Rich.

    Rich,

He just re-released his AH-1 set, which was great. Since I flew UH-1's in Vietnam, I was really interested in his Huey decals, especially since the 229th AHB emblem was on his sheet. Too bad there's so much that has to be done to the Panda/Dragon Huey to make an accurate Vietnam Huey.

  9. Thanks for all the input. The debonder won't work I should have stated in the first message I tried seperateing them with the X-Acto and well that did not work so well it snapped the tail in two so their is no hope for the fuselage. Also the glue they used appears to have eaten away at the seam whoever glued this really did not have any idea what they were doing. Again thanks for the input.

I have some fuselage halves somewhere. I know I'll never use them. I'll check on the other parts. Tell me where to send them.
