Stuart Porteous Posted September 11, 2006 Share Posted September 11, 2006 Short answers (I'm at work and my lunch break is running out): Hangars - got dimensions and drawings for Type C hangars (e.g. the big brick ones at Waddington and the slightly smaller corrugated asbestos ones at Leuchars). Got dimensions (but no drawings) for RAF-type concrete HASs if they're any good. Modern refuellers - depends how modern. I have a drawing to convert the EFE diecast AEC Mammoth Major (1970s-80s) to an RAF refueller (scratchbuilt tank, not to difficult - see below). The later Scammell S26 could be converted from the Langley Miniature Models Leyland Cruiser but it looks a sod of a job which is why I haven't done it yet. clifford355 Posted September 11, 2006 Author Share Posted September 11, 2006 Nice one, is that picture a conversion you have done I was thinking of converting the Cararama 1:72 Shell fuel tanker in to a military vehicle, I know it’s not accurate but with a little tweaking and olive drab it might look ok.
