Hi Everyone, Had a little problem where I did a final coat of Humbrol clear satin over my B17 and some got through and affected the clear plastics. Does anyone know how to clean off this satin as it is causing the plastic to be blurry and milky. I did not realise until it was too late ..lesson learnt :( I tried using white spirit but it gets worse ... :huh: I think thinner may attack the clear plastic .. did not dare to try ... Any help would be very much appreciated :) Many Thanks

Hey, You guys are legends !! Thanks for all the contributions !! My canopy is now fixed but still has a slight lines (from the scrubbing) but is unnoticable .. :) I tried as suggested .. had a 1200 sandpaper and give a good scrub (a bit scary especially seeing more scratch marks ..yikes) but that got rid of the smudge. Then using toothpaste (yes, I had some toothpaste lying around ..surprisingly) and gave it a good scrub with a thin tower ..wash and bravo !! ..incredible !! Once again, all your help were very much appreciated Off to finishing my P-51 ..yippee

Hello everyone, I am a newbie in building models and am glad to come across this site, especially the hints and tips. :D I have one dilemma which I hope you guys could help. I accidentally smudge the canopy clear plastic with glue ..now it have a little of my fingerprint , ..and am wondering if this can be fixed? Does anyone know if this is repairable? to clear off the 'blur' smudge? I hope that I don't have to get another one ..just for the canopy.. Many Thanks in advance. Regards Simon
