  8. Jee guys I couldn't ask for more. You all gave me wonderful tips. I'll certainly use your know how and how to. Pete are you building this Blackhawk too??? And to just inform you I'm far from ending it. There is a lot to be done a lot of gaps and mismatches. This is by all means not a perfect model. But if I'll do it right the outcome will be perfect. And you did more then answering my question - thanks. and thank you all You all can see my building process log here: My building log process
  9. and the big picture And here is the quastion I'm having troubles painting those delicate cabels and other very small items that are on the model. In this particular pic I tried painting the cables which are PE parts I could first paint and then glue but I didn't, and what about those pipes and details that are cast on the part and big enough to be painted and not dry brushed? I try to paint only the cable(in this pic) but the paint didn't come out clean and nicely. Are there any technics which I can master? How the pro's do it clean and nice without smearing the paint or doing over glu
  10. Just to keep everyone inform. Whom ever wish to build this kit there is a lot of dry gluing in it. Test and then do some more tests when going to glue the cabin to the fuselage. Try to minimize the gaps to the maximum and then not much filling will be necessary. After doing the glue, filling and sanding some paint remakes must be done-cover all the inside parts-I used plain paper. Here are some pictures which show the process: Happy building All :)
  11. Albert Thanks :D Trent What you say is true and I'm glad to inform that I did trim 1.5 MM off and because of that I don't have any elevation gaps meaning the floor is on the same level with the fuselage. CACTUS Well maybe it's something with the casting of the fuselage that didn't went well with my model and it turns out to be somewhat wider-barely few millimeters. Next, I didn't see any problems with the back wall of the interior on the contrary there are gaps there too, it have more space there. Last, I will not use MRC decals I have Israeli decals wich I've bought from ISRADECALS an
  12. Matt My plans are to paint the Black hawk in IAF desert scheme Eric The gaps are too large for just putty. Alby The pillars can not be force to the sides of the fuselage because then they will be out of the floor which they supose to be glued on by a few milimeters. The styrene solution looks like a good idea. I take Alby's suggestion Is there anyone who built this model and overcome this gaps problem??? Cheers P.S what HTH means??? B)
  13. Hey all I'm on my Academy UH-60L "Yanshuf" project and I've encountered a major mismatch when assembling the interior cabin to the chopper itself. I don't know what to do next. how will I close all those huge ugly gaps??? I'll post some images. first some images from the building proccess until now, and last the images that shows the huge gaps. And for the gaps Need some advice and good practical tips. :P
